DESTRUCTIVE
1. Eutrophication
The main effect that would happen is algal blooms where the stream, lake or ocean is covered with algae. This blocks sunlight from reaching the water this it prevents aquatic plant from photosynthesizing.

2. Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (🤬)
It is caused by a virus named HIV (Human immunodeficiency Virus). It takes over cells vital to the immune respond which is known as CD4 + lymphocytes. This causes the cell to interfere with body’s ability to fight off infections, cancers and other disease.

3. Food Spoilage
This occurs as the food is exposed to air and surroundings. It is the change of look, consistency, flavor and odor of the food which is caused by bacteria, moulds and yeast. For example, lactobacillus causes the formation of lactic acid while proteus causes the formation of gas.

BENEFITS

1. Genetic Engineering
Genetic Engineering is an artificial recombination of DNA from two organisms. Bacteria can be genetic engineering to produce useful human proteins such as insulin. This could happen by inserting human insulin gene into a bacteria plasmid to gain the ability to produce insulin.

2. Decomposition
This is a natural process that causes large organic materials to be broken down into simpler ones which usually involves bacteria and fungus. Without the help of microorganism to undergo decomposition, the whole world would likely to end up with overcoming piles of dead biomass. Other than that, decomposition helps to recycles back nutrients to the soil.

3.Bioremediation

Bioremediation is the biodegradation of pollutants by microorganisms. It involves solving and removing dangers of many pollutants through biodegradation from environment. Microorganisms really help to restore original natural surroundings and prevent further pollution

The benefits of microbes activity :
1. In technology .
- Certain fungi have been theorized to have anti-cancer properties, and the CRISPR Cas9 gene found in certain types of bacteria is currently being used as a gene-editing tool.
- Viruses have the potential to act as the future of nanotechnology, and bacteria are currently being tested as the core component of self-repairing concrete that could revolutionize infrastructure and the way we build buildings.
2 . Medical benefits
- Bacteria and viruses are the key components of the vaccines that prevent the spread of once-deadly diseases like smallpox.
- microorganisms allow us to artificially grow helpful substances such as insulin and human growth hormones, and reprogrammed viruses are frequently used as drug-delivery mechanisms.
3. In our body
- Microorganisms known as gut flora which help us digest food and regulate the production of vitamins and nutrients which are essential to keeping our bodies strong and healthy.
- Bacteria are the first line of defense that defense human body against infection. The bacteria in our bodies produce natural antibiotics to repel harmful microorganisms, and if a foreign virus does infect us, many people are host to a beneficial virus that slows the rate of viral spread in the body.
4. In food
- They are used to increase the fertility of the soil and increase crop yields.
- They are necessary when making products like bread, beer and cheese and when growing coffee.
- Foods with probiotic properties, such as yogurt and certain types of chocolate, deliver helpful microorganisms to our digestive systems.

The destruction caused by microbes activity :
1. Food spoilage
- food spoilage is a metabolic process that couse the food to be undesirable and unacceptable for human consumption.
- In case of mp0oulds spoilage, a furry growth covers the food and it becomes soft and often smells bad.
- Bacterial contamination is more dangerous because usually the food does not look bad and appears normal even though it is severely infected .

2. Pathogens
