By printing this out, I am creating a symbol to remember important details from the story, as well as being a leader in teaching my students how to 3D print. Students could also create a symbol for a shirt story or poem that they want to remember important details from. This was a great learning opportunity, as I got to test out the different effects in Clip Champ, an editing software that I already had on my computer. The process of making a video was also fun, as I got to practice handling the equipment and setting up secondary components such as the tripod and lighting. In addition, I also got to sharpen my video editing skills, which is something that I hope to use in my career as a teacher (I would like to someday teach a film/video class for students). Although I did not pass my test on the first try, I do believe that it is a testament to the fact that even we as teachers are not always right on the first try, and it is okay to keep learning and seeking new information.
