<title> NICHE It eats algae so it could help when algae is overgrowing. It&#39;s also one of the few things that eat sea grass (SAVs). And SAVs needs to be cut to stay healthy and grow across the seafloor instead of just growing longer. Without the green sea turtle the SAVs would die and later other organisms would die too because they don&#39;t have the SAVs and soon there would be a dead zone. </title>
