My biggest takeaway was my trust level in my partner during the mousetrap game. The activities that I engaged in during our time at Ganaraska created an environment for building effective listening skills and trust. I have always been terrified of mousetraps, the same way some are of spiders.

My biggest takeaway is that I’ve definitely entered the right program. It’s amazing to actually see all of the great people going through their journey in education and I’ve just had a blast meeting everyone

My biggest takeaway from this course was an awareness of what effective listening embodies, and the impact it carries in so many aspects of life. This course felt like an awakening; meaningful connections are dwindling and it’s a major global concern. I’m so thankful to be aware and in tune with how I can impact the world with effective listening.

My biggest take away from the Listening course was, I need to respond meaningfully rather than just be a quiet figure who’s consistently listening. The listening course taught me that listening is give-and-take situation in which I have to respond rather than shy away from extending the conversation. Once I learned that, I made many friends in my time during Ganaraska and I’m grateful I implemented my learning from the course.

My biggest takeaway was witnessing the collaboration and cohesion in a group that had never been together before. It was beyond a privilege to be part of this group that supported one another and was so open-hearted. It felt like two weeks in three days. I will never look at a full moon without thinking of the Awesome People! 🌕🌲☀️
