However, this is a genre-based writing unit and we have tried to create that balance of daily writing for agency but also bringing them towards a product. Feeding forward can sometimes take away from agency especially when we want to see a product. There are multiple forces in or outside of our classroom that are difficult to negotiate/navigate that can pull us into different directions. I am just wondering what is an optimal approach here.
