The mood that i think the author is trying to portray in this poem is mad, and angry because, Rosa Parks is hurting segregation by putting her hands through handcuffs and standing up to segregation even though that means going to jail. I can infer that Rosa parks is a brave women because people do not ever want to go to jail, but Rosa chose to.
