It was a week for we learned about architecture, make workshops, attend lecture, know the city and more. The event happened in a club where were camping and had refectory, bathroom, recreation area, all community. It was been good days with partys, good food, good talks and relaxing. One of the problem there was that in Brasilia have water rationing, so we couldn't go to the bathroom and take a shower when we want, but I thought "we can handle it".
      After a few days, we received a communication from the radio of the event, that one person had throwed a lot of toilet paper on the toilet, so the bathroom had to be interdicted. Some people tried to go there, but they couldn't.
     After the communication, me and couple of friend went to the University of Brasilia make a tour. When we arrived there they left us use the bathroom, but I noticed that large part of the group want to go too. During the tour, I didn't feel well, unfortunely I had to known all the bathroom from the University, but I didn't tell anyone about that.
      When we arrived to the camping, was circuled a rummor that the food was contaminated and almost every one in the event was feeling sick, but we couldn't used the bathroom!! It was a disaster, and worse, no one knew that the other was felling the same, because we were too ashamed to tell. 
    I was thinking go to a hotel for recovered, but the event started to sell serum and fruit, and luckly I had a remedy for diarrhea, that saved me and more some friend. After that, we were fine and able to enjoy the rest of the trip.

The prevision was returned at 9;30 am. We choose the Refugio Farm, around 8 km,  close “12 Tribos”. We started  6:15  pm, we walked at country road around 1.5 km where we picked up a trail on the border of the wild Forest at  Refugio Farm, there are many lemon tree then we caught a lot of lemon, two bags each one,  after walked 2,5 km we entered into the forest, the beginning the trail is nice, clear and only some trees had  fallen dawn, no problem  because it was possible jumped it, but at  the km 4, there was one big tree had fallen dawn (photo below) and  its big branches cover the trail and It was impossible to continue than  we had to get  around the tree, but we found another big  tree had fallen down, each tree around 30 m the length. Now , we were losing completely and lost the main trail. The forest was so closed, difficult to walk, into the forest we couldn't see any reference, we had walked from one side to another until we saw a clearing place that we could see Londrina. Now we had found the correct direction, we had lost pour one hour and half until we found the main trail. We felt relieved. We finished the walk at 11 am. When I arrived at home and weighed the lemon, you don’t believe! I carried 6 kg the lemon.

We picked up things to have a picnic with lots of food and drinks, jumped into the car and went to the Garden. When we got there, kids were racing  along the Garden, people were looking for shade to rest.  So, the Botanical Garden was packed.
   Fortunately, we found a good place to stay with lots of trees, shade and grass.
   After a few hours, we decided to wander along the Garden, enjoying the silence. We took many pictures too. It was perfect! When we came back, we had a bad surprise! Some foods were full of ants. We realized that we were near to an anthill.
   We moved from there.  We took some ants out and ate the saved food. Things of nature! 
   We have learned the lesson. We  will look more calmly for a place to have a picnic.
    We enjoyed the place until the end of the afternoon, the sunset was beautiful there. We felt exhausted and happy after returning from the Botanical Garden.

Botanical Garden  (Londrina)]]> 2021-04-17 20:16:41 UTC https://padlet.com/lablinguasprof01/tahbnab02d6oygho/wish/1428737509 The strangest place in the world https://padlet.com/lablinguasprof01/tahbnab02d6oygho/wish/1430361408 Some years ago i was in a excursion visiting historycal places in a camp activity by the university, one of ours destinations was Ponta Grossa, me and the class spend the day visiting parks, exploring water falls and furnas, at the end of the day we went to a hotel, that's when all the strange things begin. Immediately after we get off the bus, we saw a car coming down the street really fast and skidding, after the car almost hit us a men gets out of the passenger seat without his pants and started to yelling with the driver and just runned away from the scene leaving every single one of the witnesses very confused. 
during the night we started to looking for some place to eat, after we just stepped out of the hotel a man without an arm came to us and ask for our cellphones, after one second the hotel security notes the situation and helped up, after that we decided to go to a bar right in front of the hotel, after we sit there we started to notes some strange advices like "sorry for the inconvenience, we were recently robbed" then we realize the bar had no roof, we started to laughing a lot i mean, what kind of thief would steal tiles from a bar??

Not using a lot of gear, nothing radical. Just rising slowly to see our world by the summit. My family and I have climbed up a few of mountains in national parks of a several countries, where the trails were signalized and organized, and we could climb alone without the presence of a guide. On the other hand, in Brazil, we found more wild nature, and we must hired a guide to your trip to not get lost.

A couple of months ago, my husband and I hiked up the Pico Agudo, a mountain near to Londrina. We woke up 5 AM to arrive early in Sapopema and to find our guide Lucrécia. She led us by our car the confusing way to the peak. When we arrived, we spotted pink lemons on the base of the peak, but we let to harvest them on the way back, obviously.

We started the climb at nine o'clock: first we walked up through a forest; after that way, about 11 AM, we saw big rocks with ropes to help to go uphill. We were so scared; despite that, we found the courage to do that, because the guide was motivating us all the time. We got to reach the summit at noon, the sun was hard, but there was a cold wind. The view was extraordinary, we wondered how we had never been there before, being so close to home. Lucrécia took a lot of photos of us and helped us to harvest lemons on the way back. It was worth taking a guide, and we have made a friend! We came back home with happiness, a pink lemons' bag and surprising memories.
