2. If you are a  musher when you start the Iditarod you must have at least 12 dogs. And the max is 14 dogs.

3. If a dog dies during the Iditarod race the musher will be disqualifide.  
4. The race normaly ends aroud March 12 -March 13.

5.The Red Lantern award is givin to the last musher to finish the race. 

6. The ceremoial start starts on March 2 at 10 in the moring in alaskain time but in our time it would be 1 at night.   

7. To be in the Iditarod you must be 18 or older.

8. There has never been a tie in the Iditarod but there was almost a tie.

9. If a musher wins the race what they get is up to all of the sponserships.

14. When she was in her early 20’s, she moved to a small Alaskan town north of the Arctic Circle.
