         <description><![CDATA[<div>ADHD by the Numbers According to recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: <br><br>About 6.4 million children have received an ADHD diagnosis at some point.<br><br> ADHD diagnoses have increased 16 percent since 2007 and 53 percent in the past decade. Boys (13.2 percent) were more likely than girls (5.6 percent) to have ever been diagnosed with ADHD. <br><br> Rates of ADHD diagnosis increased at a greater rate among older teens as compared to younger children.</div>]]></description>
