I used to do these little scratchboards when I was little the ones u would buy at school or at the stores. It was really fun working with scratchboard again, it brought by good childhood memories. I contrasted a furry image with a smooth image. To show the divide I used a different hatching pattern. The skull was more straight line oriented and the cat head was more fluid.
