M - I have an existing Powerpoint slideshow with my initial research into the companies. I will add my photos and analysis on this, and will have a finished powerpoint.

A - I have all the resources I need to complete this task, all of the companies websites are unblocked and I can take screenshots from there, and write about them on powerpoint.

R - This research is relevant to my project, as I am getting an idea of how to appeal to audiences, how to link my designs to my brand and also general ideas of t-shirt design

T - I aim to have this done by 12, at the end of the lesson.

M - I will be writing the brainstorm in my sketchbook, if I have any images, I will print them out and stick them in along side the brainstorm.

A - The brainstorm itself is very achievable, but picking a theme could take some time.

R - This is relevant to my project as it is basically the start of the clothing brand, and is a very important part of the process.

T -This will take me a few hours, depending on if I like a theme or not.

There's also a friendly, experienced community on the forums, where I can ask for any help if I need it.

I might possibly start to design my idea of the different minerals for a set of t-shirt designs.

To get ideas for the font, I will look at existing fonts on DaFont and other font websites and use them as inspiration

M - I will start off with sketches in my sketchbook, or making a custom brush in illustrator/photoshop to create the script. I will use the brush to create my own typography, possibly using a Wacom tablet/

If I do work in illustrator, I will take screenshots and explain what I am doing in a word document.

A - I think I can get a good start on this work, but i am unsure if I will get a finished logo design and script text finished by the end of the day. I will have to work on completing this over the weekend.

R - This is relevant to my project as the possible logo and script will be useable throughout all of my designs.

T - I aim to get a start on making the font and logo, but like I said, i'm unsure if I will get a finished logo and script as it would be a lot of work to do in a day. I aim to finish it over the weekend if this is the case.

-) an improvement would be to update what you have been doing lately in your project as your last post was a while ago. Some images would be useful for a visual reference as well.

For this design I wanted to have 1 tone, which is the cheapest to print with, but have an interesting design. I wanted to have a circular design almost, which is where the bottom half of the design comes from with the lines. Again, this is sticking with the nature theme, using the eagle, mountains and moon.

Glad to see you have started putting some of your visuals of your own designs up on here - Looks good, let's have more! I know you're on placement at Ignifi, so won't have much time to do your FMP, but I copied this Independent task here to keep you in the loop in case you do get any time:

Post a visual (scan/photo/ screenshot) of at least your TOP 3 PIECES OF ARTWORK that you've generated yourself for your FMP project.  

It could be drawings, design ideas, thumbnail layout sketches, photos you've taken yourself, planning storyboards, whatever shows a visual idea.

ADD A COMMENT on each one explaining how you could use it in your development.

Hi Liam, You really want to be sticking to your "nature" theme to make your collection cohesive. I would suggest going back to your visual research into geometry in nature, crystals, trees etc

For this activity, start with a review of your grades from Ontrack. Complete the table and do the math! It's not hard, but is important.

This design is going with my nature theme, as well as an environmental theme, which is starting to make an appearance in a few other designs.

I have used the idea of the ice caps melting, but used it with the imagery of the world and the polar bear. Giving the impression that they wont be around forever, as their world is melting.

I first decided I wanted something to go vertical with the length of the T-shirt, and wanted to have a border of sorts.

This design uses 4 tones, as I tried to keep it minimal, but slightly detailed for printing purposes.

My time at INGNIFI also helped out a lot, because of the digital techniques I learned, which I have demonstrated in my designs.

I have learned of the struggles of making a brand, and thinking about designs, which requires a lot of effort and thought, and if I want to have my own clothing brand, I have to be 100% dedicated to getting it started, which is what I am hoping will happen.

I've also learned to be more careful days before my deadline so I dont injure myself.
