1. Were the objectives of the project fulfilled?

Hai semua. Fuhhh, selesai juga projek EP saya. Boleh tahan mencabar, tapi ini adalah realiti. Jadi terus ke depan dan jangan pusing ke belakang. Hehe.

Okay, saya tak nak tulis panjang-panjang. Memandangkan dah minggu akhir, izinkan saya menjenguk sama ada objektif yang saya sasarkan tercapai atau tidak untuk projek ini.

Pertama sekali sudah pasti saya ingin belajar dan tahu dengan lebih mendalam tentang urusan jual beli hartanah. Alhamdulillah, sepanjang tempoh 4 minggu kelas bersama Encik Halim, saya yakin telah berjaya memahami sekurang-kurangnya asas proses jual beli hartanah yang telus dan benar sekaligus dapat mengelakkan saya daripada tersilap atau ditipu semasa melakukan urusan jual beli hartanah pada masa akan datang.

Kedua, orang kata, berilmu tanpa amal itu rugi. Jadi saya telahpun mempraktikkan ilmu hartanah ini dengan mengajar ahli keluarga saya. Ha, video tu ada sedutan dalam video akhir nanti. Tetapi jangan keliru ye, saya belum lagi menjadi agen hartanah berdaftar. Saya cuma berkongsi ilmu dengan ahli keluarga.

Ketiga. Lima tahun belajar dalam bidang perubatan. Lima tahun juga la saya duduk di kawasan HCTM. Saya tak nafikan memang kadang-kadang rasa bosan, jadi kehadiran posting elektif membenarkan saya untuk membentuk jati diri yang tinggi dalam segenap bidang ilmu bukan sahaja terhad dalam bidang perubatan sekaligus menjadi graduan berprestasi tinggi. InsyaAllah.

Keempat. Orang kata, "pengalaman itu beharga". Saya terfikir kenapa sedemikian. Namun, selepas 4 minggu menjalankan projek ini, akhirnya saya sedar bahawa belajar ilmu dalam bidang lain diluar kawasan kampus secara tidak langsung mampu mematangkan daya pemikiran saya.

Okay rakan-rakan, begitulah objektif yang saya sasarkan dan alhamdulillah, berkat usaha gigih, objektif-objektif tersebut berjaya saya simpulkan dengan jayanya.

Ha, cukuplah tu untuk soalan pertama. Banyak lagi yang minta dijawab. Hehe.

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?

Sejujurnya, terlalu banyak kenangan sepanjang projek ini berlangsung. Namun, dalam setiap sesuatu, pasti ada yang menjadi pendahulu merangkap memori yang paling tidak boleh dilupa. Memori itu adalah apabila saya berjaya mempraktikkan ilmu hartanah ini dengan berkongsi kepada ahli keluarga saya.

Haha, mesti ramai yang berkata kenapa memori ini nampak biasa. Namun, ini lah yang paling saya suka.

3. What have you found challenging about this project? (any part of the project you found hard to do)

Dalam tawa pasti ada air mata. Tapi, untuk projek ini, saya tidak mengalami sebarang masalah sepanjang tempoh belajar dan berkongsi ilmu. Namun, seteru utama muncul apabila memerlukan perkara-perkara teknikal khususnya proses menyunting video akhir. Bukan senang rupanya nak menghasilkan sebuah video ye rakan-rakan.

4. What has really worked? (any part in the project that you thought worked well)

"Lawatan hartanah". Semua topik berjalan di atas talian. Namun, untuk topik ini sedikit spesial kerana saya berpeluang untuk bergambar di salah satu hartanah yang sedang diuruskan oleh Encik Halim. Walaupun hanya sekadar bergambar dan tiada Encik Halim bersama dek kerana kuarantin, tetapi pengalaman ini membuatkan saya lebih jelas dengan teori yang diajarkan.

5. What can be improved in this project?

"Elektif" tetapi "efektif". Dua perkataan ini sudah cukup untuk menyimpulkan perasaan saya sepenuhnya terhadap projek ini. Penambahbaikan yang saya inginkan dalam projek ini adalah untuk menjalankan sepenuhnya secara bersemuka. Semoga masalah covid beransur segera. Aamiinn.

1. Were the objectives of the project fulfilled?
I am happy to say yes! My objectives were fulfilled with a full of blast. My first objective was to be able to enhance my interpersonal communication skills by meeting new people and working together with them as a team. This objective was accomplished as I seems to get closer and familiar with the other volunteers.
Secondly, I aimed to learn and practice more on time management by making sure that I could divide my time wisely between vokunteerism and spending time for myself since it happened during semester break.
Last but not least, my fulfilled objective was to become more responsible person in taking care of any of my responsibilities in the task given when working in a different environment that is out of my comfort zone.

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?
First, I liked the fact that I made a good contribution the this country during this tough pandemic times. I enjoyed meeting new people eventhough they are way older than I am. I found myself enjoyed dealing with different kind of vaccinees too. Some of them were a bit tough to handle with but at the end of the day, it became a memories that worth to laugh at when we talk to each other among the doctors and the volunteers. Lastly, I was blessed with free food everyday! There were always a doctor or a volunteer who bought food for all of us and we even had got free food and drinks from the vaccinee too. I would concluded that I enjoyed all things about being a volunteer for this past two months.

3. What have you found challenging about this project? (any part of the project you found hard to do)
For the jobscope at the registration counter, I think I am okay and good to go as I have been doing it everyday. I kind of get used to it and can pick up the pace to done my job faster. I think the most challenging part was to deal with the hot weather because we need to pull of PPE (mask, face shield, apron and hand glove). PPV HCTM located at the parking lot so the ventilation is a bit less caused the area to feel quite warm and hot. Thankfully, our organizer supplied us with enough fans and portable air conditioner to deal with the weather.

4. What has really worked? (any part in the project that you thought worked well)
Malaysia current vaccination for fully vaccinated population is 47.7% and PPV HCTM is one of those place that contribute to the increasing number of people being vaccinated. I think my choice to become a volunteer worked well that I am happy to say that I am a part of community that brings Malaysia towards herd immunity.

5. What can be improved in this project?
Due to the new policy made by the organizer, we needed to stick with our original counter which mine was registration. Deep in my heart, I would like to try the other counters too especially vaccination counter because I would like to see the nurses inject the vaccinees. In my opinion, this project could be improved if we get the chance to try the other counter so we gain more knowledge and experiences.

Overall, I think this project has been a success since the beginning. Honestly, everything goes as planned and all of my customers are lovely and non-fussy. I really enjoyed all parts of it and even happier to gain money.

5. What can be improved in this project?

I will say the thing that can be improved is my skill and my art style. In the future, I would like to explore more on other styles to increase my creativity.

Let’s see what our objectives are first. Recap!

to have better understanding on advanced technology and marketing strategy to affect consumer decision making
to apply knowledge in creating a creative and innovative business
to explore the benefits of collaboration between different parties
to develop communication skills and negotiation skills as sellers
to develop financial management skills

There are five of them in totals.

The first and second objectives were easily achieved as we are actively promoting and marketing our burgers on our social media of choice which is Instagram. Instagram is a well-known platform and most people around the globe must have at least an account, be it personal account or business account. Hence, we were taking this opportunity to maximise the usage of Instagram and it’s features to promote our burgers. We inserted catchy-up-to-date audios, creative animations, vibrant choice of colours and kept on updating lots of photos and videos to attract customers. We even encouraged our customers to tag us along and give reviews or feedback after eating our burgers, and this actually really helps in broadening our market size as it inadvertently promotes our burgers to their followers, in other words, our soon-to-be customers. The third and fourth objectives were fulfilled along the process. We collaborated with the college, seeking approval to start a burger business on the college site, negotiating with the cafeteria on suitable operating hours as they seemed initially disturbed with us being their competitors but after a professional discussion, they agreed and gave us the green light. As for the negotiation skills as sellers, we did practiced it on our customers where somehow there will be miscommunication but after some negotiations, they easily cooperated with us. Last but not least, the financial management skills were obviously achieved as we are basically dealing with money, pre-, intra-, post-. Every process had to do with money.

All in all, the five 🖐🏻 project’s objectives were successfully fulfilled! 🥳👏🏻

What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?

Of course….. The idea of getting our own money. Hehe.. 💰💰

Other than that, seeing the positive reviews, positive feedbacks, positive comments and happy pictures of our customers enjoying our burgers. That feeling of satisfaction I can’t describe with words. Truly ‘Burgermbira’. 🍔😆

What have you found challenging about this project? (any part of the project you found hard to do)

In my opinion, I think it’s the accounting part. Hahaha, we don’t really know how to do proper accounting as we only have basic accounting knowledge and skills. On top of it, those skills are even rusty so can you imagine how challenging it is. Especially when they are not tally with each other, it was so frustrating. Nevertheless, we managed to settle the calculation part even though we were having a hard time. 😂

What has really worked? (any part in the project that you thought worked well)

Successfully get our duit modal back in only a few days of operation. Not to mention the total profits we got are quite surprising despite operating for only 6 days in total.

What can be improved in this project?

Only if we can come up with a system to collect orders such as using a special website as we collect orders manually and this tends to cause errors. Manual labors have flaws and tired people tend to make mistakes. ‘Special website’ that I thought maybe can automatically collect orders and tally with the stock inventory simultaneously. This will saves soooo much time on the accounting part later as everything were already in the data.

1. Were the objectives of the project fulfilled?

Recap:

1. Make use of the knowledge gained from accounting subject and existing business experience by learning how to acquire products, calculate net profit and loss, and also how to advertise and sell product properly in an official business setting.

2. Generate income by doing business using your own passion.

3. Enhance skill and confidence in promoting and advertising painting skills through business.

Regarding the first objective, I had to recall all the lessons I have learned because it had been years for me since I last took basic accountancy. Regardless of the situation, I was able to fulfill it after a few days of self learning. The second objective, once I fulfilled the first one, was like a walk in the park. For the third objective, it took me a while to really get comfortable when it comes to promoting online because I was scared to promote it due to my negative thoughts. But I kept on trying ,and bit by bit I gained confidence in promoting my skills without having to overthink about other people’s opinions (constructive criticism is allowed btw). So yes, I am honoured to say that each and every objective has been fulfilled excellently^^

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?

The fact that I got to do something I was so passionate about is what made this project enjoyable. It was enjoyable even more when someone appreciated and loved my artwork. It was worth it when I had something therapeutic for me going on in this quite chaotic time (and lifestyle). And of course the money. I liked it especially when I could monetize my passion 😆

3. What have you found challenging about this project? (any part of the project you found hard to do)

I found it quite challenging to promote my skills on social media where there are abundance of talented artists. Like I said previously, other artists could easily overshadow me due to their experience and skills. Other people sometimes don't spare me a glance at all, but I could not say much since I was new to this world of business. Who knows things will change if I stay long enough (which I am planning to).

4. What has really worked? (any part in the project that you thought worked well)

Everything seems to work well, despite a minor problem that could not be avoided. Others loved my artworks (I have said it before and I will say it again and again, and I will not get tired of it) and my total net profit was healthy

5. What can be improved in this project?

I would say the painting styles. I realized that I should not limit myself on things that I was only comfortable with, instead I should explore various creative things I could have done to my artwork. Also, I should have made specific links (both for ready made and custom made) for customers to place order so it would make my project more organized.

Were the objectives of the project fulfilled?

Yes! because everything was a new experience for me, I learnt a lot along the way. I now have a greater grasp of how to use technologies to promote and improve engagement for our business. I learnt how to market our business, alter our menu, and share customers feedback. I also learned that communication skills are far the most important part in this ep as we really need to communicate wisely and settle any misunderstanding before it gets worse. I also established good communication skills when handling customer’s behaviour and how to negotiate as a seller. I also have a better grasp on the financial management since I had to perform all the calculations and numbers . I realised how significant it is to mention if you own a business.

What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?

It made me very delighted when customers were pleased with our burgers. They also shared and wrote nice feedback on social media that make me more happy. I also finding it enjoyable to do all of the things I had never done before. Furthermore, I like the money we got too, lol :D, especially because it was my first time operating this type of business. I initially believed that selling burgers would not generate much profit, but with the appropriate strategy and ideas, it is achievable.

What have you found challenging about this project? (any part of the project you found hard to do)

For me I struggled when we first started selling our burgers for real, as there was so much to do, to buy stocks, to prepare, to set up a booth, to count money, to clean up but as time went by it became easier. Furthermore, as this is my first time doing it, I had to learn and gain skill to sell burgers like how to do the exact step in making every burger, how much for every ingredient (seasoning,sauces, vege) needed for every burger and how long to cook the patties. At first, I’m also quite struggling with all the calculations when I'm handling the money but I believe with the ongoing experiences in this business it will become second nature.

What has really worked? (any part in the project that you thought worked well)

Thankfully, We managed to get our modal back and get a good amount of profit.

I believed what really worked was when we did everything as a team and were always there to help each other. Lastly, I think our burgers are super delicious and appetizing that make our customers really enjoy it. We also managed to use social media like instagram to the fullest when promoting our burgers.

What can be improved in this project?

-While going through this project, I concluded that there are some things that can be improved . We used a manual method when doing calculations for our cash in and out, so maybe we can use a more systematic approach like using excel to reduce any loss of data or calculations. We also take orders via whatsapp which is quite messed up and sometimes the message can be jumbled up. Therefore, If we can use an app to get orders from customers, maybe it will help a lot.

1. Were the objectives of the project fulfilled?

For this project, I had three objectives which were all fulfilled (thankfully ^_^). The first one was to start a small business that I would be able to expand and continue doing even after the elective period ends, and since business went very smoothly, I am really encouraged to continue this project as a side income.

My second objective was to gain experience in promoting my product on social media platforms, and I believe I managed to achieve that especially through Instagram stories, Carousell posts and Twitter. This project also helped me build my confidence to share the process of how I decorated my toploaders through posting reels which I’ve personally never done before.

My third objective was to gain profit, and through selling the decorated toploaders, I was able to generate a healthy amount of profit while also having fun throughout the process :DD (I actually have half the amount of stickers left that can be used for future sales ><)

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?

I especially enjoyed the whole process of decorating the toploaders the most as each customer has their own preferences, and trying out different designs allowed me to expand my creativity. I would always make sure to send them pictures halfway and proceed with the design after their approval. Thus it felt very rewarding after challenging myself to come up with new, unique designs that would satisfy them.

Aside from that, I really like how this project helped me gain more confidence in dealing with potential customers.

3. What have you found challenging about this project? (any part of the project you found hard to do)

The most challenging part for me is to ensure that I meet my customer’s expectations and don’t disappoint them with the product outcome. There were a few days in which I felt very unmotivated and drained out after being hunched on the desk for hours completing one toploader after another, I even got headaches T_T But whenever I finished my design and the customer gives really encouraging feedback and claims that they are satisfied with it, it makes me really happy and motivates me to continue :DD

4. What has really worked? (any part in the project that you thought worked well)

I believe promoting my products on Instagram and Carousell helped generate the largest percentage of potential customers for me. A lot of customers actually messaged me after seeing my Instagram stories as I would make sure to post any custom deisgns I’ve completed.

Aside from that, creating reels has also allowed me to gain a wider range of audiences. Also, I am very grateful to my family, friends and past customers who helped spread the word and also posted their feedbacks online which attracted more interests.

5. What can be improved in this project?

Personally, I am very satisfied with this project as this opportunity has allowed me to gain a lot of experience especially in terms of managing my own business. However, I believe one thing that can be improved is I would have liked to fully utilize Shopee in terms of promoting my product and for cheaper postage as I wasn’t able to do so since the post office nearest to me does not offer the service and the current situation makes it harder to go to other branches. It would have been great if I was able to participate in Shopee sales especially the monthly ones which often attracts a huge amount of audience.

Nevertheless, as I plan to continue this business as my side income, I would like to explore more on ways I could improve my business and hopefully when things get better, I would be able to do so :>

1. Were the objectives of the project fulfilled
Yes, indeed!! Since everything was a new thing to me. I learnt how to operate a business.It is not as easy as it seem, but with hard work and also determination it surely can be done. A good marketing surely indicates a successful business. From there, we engaged with people. Therefore, we used Instagram as our main platform to promote our burgers. Using catchy musics, vibrant post and kept on updating on Instagram make people aware about us. This way eventually has created an algorithm in Instagram and people started to follow us and we eventually gained a lot of customers. We even asked our customers to tag us and review our food sincerely so that we were able to improve on our quality of food.

Well, communication was the tool in making sure our business ran smoothly. A good choice of words and also ways of us approaching the cafe owner as well as the principal, has helped us in making sure we were able to open this burger shop. Even at first, cafe owner didn’t seem to be happy with our idea, but after a professional discussion with them, they eventually gave us green light. In this way, both parties were happy. With our customers, we negotiated pretty well with them even though there were some misunderstanding but we managed to overcome it. I was glad that instead of we pinpoint each other false, we immediately came out with the solutions.

Lastly, financial management (the hard part). Well in every decision we were making it involved money. So we got to be very meticulous regarding that. After ages of not doing quick calculations using the brain, selling burgers has helped me to do so. Well, when it comes to money, there should be no errors at all because it would affect our account, therefore we would always double check the prices and also quantities of burgers sold to avoid shortage of money.

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project
This might sound crazy. But I enjoyed the process on doing the accounting part. It was very challenging and only with the basic knowledge, we tried our best to do it, in making sure that everything were tally.

Of course, customers reviews and positive comments motivated us to do even better. And not forgetting, the profits we were getting. Initially we thought we couldn’t make any profit, but after few days of selling, we managed to get profit from there (weheeee)

3. What have you found challenging about this project (any part of the project you found hard to do)
The accounting part!! It took us soooo longgg to do it. We spent hours on it. Even though we were very exhausted, we still make sure to close the account on the day we sold burgers. Every single cents were so important and we couldn’t neglect it. We tried our best in doing the accounting with our rusty memories. But at least we managed to do it.
Another part was cooking the patties. Juicy patty was what people want.

4. What has really worked (any part of the project that you thought worked well)
We successful got back our modal back despite of selling it for only 6 days and also the profit. Not forgetting the teamwork we had.

5. What can be improved in this project

Any ways of collecting the money instead of doing it manually. Because we also short of money despite of we doing it right. So if there were a good system, we surely can overcome this problems
A system that we can track how many patties we sold on that day instead of doing it manually. And we got to double check it to make sure it was correct. Let’s say if the person forgot how many patties she took out, then it would be troublesome. Thank god that didn’t happen to us

1. Were the objectives of the project fulfilled?

For me, yes! Alhamdulillah, our objectives are all fulfilled. One of our objectives is to learn on how to use advanced technology and master marketing strategy to get more customers to buy from us. It was a huge success when we managed to reach our highest accomplishment during the last day of selling. Can you believe that we sold 133 burgers to KTDI students on the last day? I know right, it still felt surreal to me. We learnt how to use Instagram properly to attract customers and ask them to review and promote us too.

We also learnt the importance of collaboration between different parties. In our case, we managed to collaborate with the college administration to give us permission to sell burgers.

I am also truly amazed on how much we have improved our communication and negotiation skills. To become the people of business, those two skills are the most important ones because you will need a lot of people to help you. All in all, I believe the objectives of this project has been fulfilled successfully, yeayyy!

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?

In my point of view, the thing that I enjoyed the most is seeing the satisfaction of our customers. It is a different feeling when they told us that our burgers are amazing. I loved the fact that we have regular customers that would buy our burger everytime. Here is a shoutout to Surianti, our main cook and Shazwani for making the best burger ever!

Another thing that I liked the most is...... of course, the profit that we gained! I mean, who doesn't love money? It made me more determined to see the money we're 'breeding'. It was truly an enjoyable process despite the tiredness that we had to face.

3. What have you found challenging about this project?

The most challenging part about this project is finding out that our account was not tally. It was frustrating to see my friends struggling to make them tally. At that time, I regretted for dropping Accounts when I was in school. I did not know that I might need the knowledge some day. So, it is proven true that the knowledge you are learning is never a waste. I did help to count the money and some things that they wanted me to help. The accounting part could make my brain hurt, no jokes but we managed to cope with it. Alhamdulillah.

4. What has really worked?

We managed to gain back our modal and some profits! I really am happy to see the cooperation and teamwork spirit that all of us had to make this project a success. From managing to reach 160 followers on Instagram to reaching our highest sales during the last day, I believe that our project was a great success. We also managed to be featured in the Nadi Bangi news. I did not see that coming too but when one of my friends who is a UKM Mass Communication student approached me to feature Burgermbira in their news, it made us all so happy. Also, the story that was written by my friend in the article was a bit misleading since he did not explain that we were doing it for elective posting because he said it would be better to say that we are doing it for fun to fulfill his lecturer's requirements HAHAHA so feel free to read it if you want to!! I believe that our small but consistent effort has brought us a great outcome so yeayyy, KUDOS BURGERMBIRA!!!

5. What can be improved in this project?

One thing that can be improved is our system of collecting the orders. We have found that if we were to make a F&B business in the future, it would be a privilege if we could afford a decent website to ease the process. This is because sometimes, we tend to forgot one or two orders. That is definitely the flaw that in our project that could be improved.

1. Were the objectives of the project fulfilled?

Honestly, I think I have not fulfilled my objectives to the fullest yet as I mentioned in my proposal which I have 4 objectives including boost my confident to speak in front of camera. I think that one’s is quite challenging for me since I always need to deal with insecurity towards myself. But I still manage to do some tutorial through my Instagram story. Although I did face a lot of challenging phases during these 4 weeks but Alhamdulillah I manage to achieve my sales target, be Top 10 Personal Sales and Monthly Ordering Bonus Achievers in my Unit Circle with 640 points in total for August 2021. Actually, I was targeting the title of ‘Queen of Sales’ for this month but August just too short for me to achieve that sales target uhukss 🤧

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?

Thing that excites me the most during this whole course is packing customers’ order. I really enjoyed the moments because it feels like giving someone a present. If I packed the orders myself, I will give some samples and free gift together with the item they bought as an appreciation for supporting my small pink business. Thankyou my customers!!!

Like I mentioned before, I did face a lot of challenging phases during this whole course including facing rejection from customer, doing my own promoting materials, having an internet connection problem and more. But the most challenging part about doing business is when making a content video using my own face since I need to overcome my insecurities everytime I am doing a video. I think to stay positive and not giving up even after multiple rejection is also the hardest part about this project. I still remember the days when disappointment hits me really hard after spending hours consulting and promoting product to my prospects. I believe that when we able to overcome the rejection in business, it’s shows that we are already become a successful entrepreneur.

4. What has really worked? (any part in the project that you thought worked well)

Everything actually turned out pretty good. In online business, as long as you are consistently promoting your brand, you will get customers. It was a slow progression since I start promoting in my second week of August but I boost my effort without give up and manage to fulfil almost all the objectives.

5. What can be improved in this project?

Rather than virtually, I really hope that I can join Mary Kay physical classes and events together with my sisterhood in my Unit (Faz Fabulous Unit).

1. Were the objectives of the project fullfilled?

Yes, indeed! I am very grateful that I have achieved all three of my objectives. My first objective is to establish a platform for small business in the future which I have done using Instagram. It took me a lot of time creating unique names for my business account. I have chosen the name @resinbyvera in the end as I have no other ideas :’)

My second objective is to earn side income during the elective posting which was fully achieve. I have sold a total of 85 bookmarks and 30 keychains so far. I have hard time deciding the prices for my products. Some said that it was too expensive, while some said that it was too cheap for handmade product.

My third objective is to develop soft skills such as time management skill. To be honest, this project consumed a lot of my time as the process itself was not easy. I always prepare a daily to-do-list to help me keep track of my tasks as I am having difficulty to adhere to a strict schedule.

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?

My favourite part of the project is packing customers’ orders. I have always enjoyed watching tons of packaging video, never thought that I would be making one too! I used brown envelope to put the products as it was easy to get and cheaper. Then, I would tie them together to give an aesthetic look to the packaging. I also wrote thank you note for my customers. I think it is time for me to make a printed thank you card as it took me a lot of time to write all the note.

3. What have you found challenging about this project? (Any part of the project you found hard to do)

The challenging part of the project is always the process of resin making. It was easy yet tricky as there was a lot of do (s)and don’t (s) in resin making. I have to be extra careful while handling resin. Since I am only good at theories, thus I have make a lot of mistakes. Sometimes, there were ants or insects that might got into the resin while it was still not fully cured. Hence, there was some defected product produced. I have sold the defected products at a cheaper prices to avoid waste.

4. What has really worked? (Any part in the project that you thought work well)

I think what has really worked was how I advertise my product on my page. Aesthetic pictures with the right hashtags would be really helpful. I also made reels video which has attracted some of my customers’ attention. Other than that, I also have experienced being scolded by customer, however it was not my fault. Despite that, I still responded nicely. In the end she apologised to me when she realised it was her own mistakes.

5. What can be improved in this project?

Some improvement that I would like to make in the future are:

- Product packaging. I wanted to make a printed thank you and resin care cards so it would save my time writing. I also wanted apply wax sealing with baby breath to my packaging. It would look absolutely stunning!!

- Supplies. I should restock my supplies immediately before I almost ran out of them as it took a while for me to received the parcels.

- Business account. I should make a proper ‘how to order’ and ‘prices’ notices on my Instagram highlight. I also need to put a ‘feedback section’ on the highlight as well so that it would help in gaining trust from potential customers. I also wanted to put my feed in a proper theme as now it was all mixed up.

- Products. I thought that I should widen my products and designs selection so that my customer can choose. The products that I am thinking to make in the future are hair clips, trinket trays and book cover.

1. Were the objectives of the project fulfilled?
Definitely yes. I have learned a lot throughout this elective posting such as get to know how to make kuih which I never thought would be this easy. Next, I get to improve my interprofessional skills including on being persuasive on getting buyers, tolerating with customers’ needs and basic human engagement etiquettes.

2. What have you enjoyed or liked the most about the project?
First and foremost, of course the making of my kuih. But i would say i enjoy making the video the most. Even i could not fit my whole elective posting journey in one video, at least I managed to include most of it that I get to record. And it was fun watching back how far I have been.

3. What have you found challenging about this project? (any part of the project you found hard to do)
I found it very challenging to seek help when needed because of the guilt of burdening someone especially if it does not bring any benefits for them. But when i be optimistic and encourage myself to seek help, it has ease my journey a lot. Some people that have contributed in my journey are actually happy and glad to help me out. After all, it was all just in my head for not being optimistic.

4. What has really worked? (any part in the project that you thought worked well)
I think it really worked when I put my friends as my initial target audience because they will spread the words and help me out on promoting my kuih. Some of them repeat their purchase because the liked it, some of them even buy my kuih for their own friends as ‘sedekah’ and some let me keep the change. Maybe that is one of the perks of having a lot of nice friends.

5. What can be improved in this project?
I could make a bigger online platform for this kuih such as in Facebook as there are better target audiences there as compared to Instagram because of the age target in each apps.
