Hiking in Thailand

This Story happened 6 Years ago when a young man called Non and his ex-girlfriend went hiking. They originally took the bus but ended up using a Pick up car. Having arrived at night and started their tour at the next morning, the trip lasted 4 days and for Non it was the first time Back packing. The Tour took place in Thailand near the Border to Myanmar. In an interview Non said that one of the most Challenging Things they encountered were to communicate with the people who lived near the Border because they could not understand him so they had to communicate with there hands and feet.

Isabella’s challenging story started when she decided to study at Stafford House in Cambridge. After a long flight with two connections, one in Portugal and one in France, the only thing that she wanted was to get some sleep. As a minor Isabela was not allowed to stay in Varsity, so she hadn’t another choice but to stay with a host family. Furthermore, when she arrived at her host family's house, the owner of the house wasn’t there, so she had to wait for hours. Although she felt unwelcome because of the first impression she had of the family, the reason that made her move to a new host family was the fact that the house didn’t have a proper shower.

Having moved to a new host family she felt happy and relieved but was only a matter of time before another problem appeared. Some days later, she noticed that her credit card wasn’t working, and since she was not the owner, she couldn’t go to the bank. Knowing that the only solution was to take all the money from the account, she went to an ATM even without knowing how to use an ATM, she copied what a guy was doing and due to this, she was able to withdraw the money.

One month before her trip back to Brazil, she started to feel a lot of pain in her teeth. Arriving at the Dentist, they didn't accept to attend to her, so she started to cry, however, seeing that she was in a lot of pain, they attended her. Unfortunately, her teeth were infected and she only had two options to treat the infection. Having discovered that the best method to get rid of it was surgery, she agreed on doing it.

Even though this story is incomplete because Isabella is still here, she feels that this trip has been a big adventure for her and she couldn’t be happier.

Leonira and the journey to Namibia.

Leonira was with her family traveling by car to Namibia, the route was long but would be worth it.
Having been packed the bags on the car, they started the long journey. During the way to Namibia, they had to go through the national park that had a lot of wild and exotic animals. However, they had an unforeseen event, the car tire went over something and they couldn't follow the trip because the car got stuck without the machine necessary to change the tire so they stayed hours on the middle of nowhere waiting for someone appear to help them.
During this time, they looked at the floor and was possible to see some footprints, making leonira laugh and making her older sister extremely scary, imagining that some wild animal were there watching her, until someone showed up to help them. The only problem was that the guy who decided to help them was an opportunist and wanted something in return. Having talked with the guy, they made one agreement and they got the machine. Having used the machine, they went back on the road.
Finally, they got in Namibia and had amazing two weeks in family until they had to come back to their country. But something that they didn’t know was that you could only buy a certain things if you had a license, and since they didn’t have the license they had to hide the stuff on the car and was a funny/scary moment.
However, everything went fine and they came back home with a good story to tell.

The first international trip, 16 years old Sofia and her twin sister ventured to Rome, Italy. Arriving in Rome, they were confronted with the linguistic barrier, making it difficult for them to understand the local dialect. Feeling lost and disconnected due to the absence of a signal. It was literally prevented them from contacting their accommodation's owner. After hours of tireless searching, they persevered, finally reaching their hotel safe and sound.

However, faced a ridiculous accident, he realized that he had forgotten his car key inside the locked vehicle. With a resolute spirit, he hatched a daring plan. Like a skilled hiker, having climbed the roof of the car, he moved his way to the window. Finally, he slipped inside, retrieving the key with a cheerful feeling.

At the end of the trip, they appreciated each passing moment, knowing that the true essence of a road trip lay not only in the destinations reached but in the remarkable stories woven along the way.
