It was way bigger than he thought,the Englishman convinced Santiago to try to find the alchemist. When they tried looking for the alchemist, they started  asking random women one of the women thay asked was a girl named Fatima, sje knew where the alchemist was, but Santiago didn't care anymore, all he wanted was Fatima, he was in love.

When the wind approaches Santiago, Santiago tries to convince the wind to let himself become wind, however the wind says to go ask heaven. Santiago says to the sun that since the sun knows about love, it must know about the soul of the world. After talking to eachother, the sun asks what the boy wants, and the boy responds with   becoming the wind. the sun then says to speak to the soul of the world. when the boy reaches the soul of the world, he saw that it was part of god's soul, and as a boy, he could perform miracles.

He felt weighed down by the centuries that had passed since the Pyramids were constructed. He didn't, however, come to a halt. As he battled the wind, which frequently pushed sand back into the pit, he strained to continue digging. He listened to his heart despite his abraded and tired hands. It had instructed him to dig up the spot where his tears had fallen.
He heard footsteps while he was attempting to take out the rocks he had encountered. A number of people approached him. They had their backs to the moonlight, and the boy couldn't see their eyes or features.
"What are you doing here?" demanded one of the figures.
The fact that he was afraid was the source of his fear. "What are you doing here?" demanded one of the figures.
The youngster didn't respond because he was afraid. He'd discovered where his riches was hidden and was terrified of what might happen next.
The boy said, "I'm not hiding anything."
One of them, though, grabbed the youngster and hauled him out of the hole. Another person, when inspecting the boy's belongings, discovered the gold piece.
He declared, "There's gold here."
The moon shined brightly on the face of the Arab who had kidnapped him, and the youngster saw death in the man's eyes.
They forced the child to continue digging, but he came up empty-handed. The men began to beat the boy as the sun rose. His clothing was torn to shreds, and he was injured and bleeding. After the Arabs beat him up one of them said, foolish boy, following a recurring dream with no reason. I had a dream about treasure under a church in Spain, but i wasn't so foolish to follow it. The Arabs left with the gold the alchemist gave him. But Santiago wasn't sad or crying.
