When do you feel your best?

I feel my best when I'm out with friends, having fun, enjoying life. I forget about everything, anything bad, I forget about all the hard work I had to put in for that week, and I forget about anything that's stressing me. I let it go, put it in my "temporary trashcan" and just let loose and have fun. This feeling of goodness feeds into my future goals by helping me to find a piece of mind when I feel like I'm losing it. It helps me to let it all go and to step back and breath for a bit. With my goal of becoming a teacher and counselor, I'll need it. Literally my only full time goal is to become a teacher. To start this, I would probably be ready to take on this roll at the age of 25. I have already started by enrolling in college and taking on some classes that I will need in my field. Being able to guide teens or even others of all ages has been my main goal for a while now and by doing this, I'm showing others my passion for my job. By the year of 2023 or less, I hope to fulfill all the necessary degrees and knowledge I will need to start my career path in counseling and education.

Describe an instance this semester when you were faced with a conflict.

An instance this semester when I was faced with a conflict was when I was in the middle of losing a "friend". I quote friend, because you can't just use that word loosely. You have to be careful with whom you surround yourself with and always stay true to yourself. I responded to this conflict by really just not responding. I "let it go" I said my last "Ok' and moved on. Always believe that things happen for a reason and life and that's OK. It's a part of life, of learning how to get through certain situations and with that I'm totally fine of learning from it. What makes me proud the most of how I handled the situation is how mature I know I am. I'm able to just drop things like an adult and talk things out without arguing, even if it means I'm going to still end up losing something or someone. I know my worth and my value and I know what's valuable and worthy to me and what's not.

How do you lead an emotional healthy lifestyle?

I learned to live an emotionally healthy lifestyle by teaching myself what's worthy to cry over and what's not. I used to cry over any and everything and now, some things I just kick to the curb and say "it is what it is." I can continue to improve my emotional wellness by continuing to do what I'm doing now; not let petty things bother me or stop me from excelling. The tools that are available to me on campus are resources like advising, counseling services, and tutoring services. I have used the resources of advising, campus police, and even the library. I got together with my learner mentor to discuss classes for next semester and I used the library twice to do some research. The campus police were also helpful by letting me know if my missing glasses ended in their lost and found bin. In the future semesters, I do plan on using these resources for further help with anything that I need.

How do you lead an physically healthy lifestyle?

On top of my last post, how did I lead an physically healthy lifestyle? I at least try to exercise every now and then or whenever I'm feeling good and get the chance. Sometimes I'll even buy a nice healthy salad (which I'm craving one at this moment - 4/30/18) and eat my life away. I'll also engage in activities that will get my body working and moving around, anything that I know will exhaust me for a good nights sleep. I could improve my physical lifestyle by trying to engage in more exercising activities rather than the few I do now in my dorm and start back heading to the gym (this is actually a goal for me.) Furthermore, the tools that are available to me on campus are resources like advising, counseling services, and tutoring services. I have used the resources of advising, campus police, and even the library. I got together with my learner mentor to discuss classes for next semester and I used the library twice to do some research.
How do you lead a fiscally healthy lifestyle?

To lead fiscally healthy lifestyle, I at least try to save money every week, especially since I know summer is coming up and trips are in high demand at this moment. I also have a goal of getting an apartment by the time I'm 20 so that way I can commute to a nearby university rather than stay on campus. By this, I have been saving up with my partner and every paycheck we put $20 in the box. I only pay for gas with my credit card and always make sure to pay it back before my pay period so that my credit score can continue to rise (I've been doing an amazing job with that!) I can improve my fiscally wellness much more by not buying fast food so much and stop heading to the mall every chance I get. (I literally eat out every weekend) Again, the tools that are available to me on campus are resources like advising, counseling services, and tutoring services. I have used the resources of advising, campus police, and even the library. I got together with my learner mentor to discuss classes for next semester and I used the library twice to do some research.
What have you learned about yourself this semester?

Although I've always known this, (I just have to keep reminding myself sometimes) I've learned that even when it feels like I can't I know I can. I can let go of bad people, unwanted things, and so much more. If I want something, I am determined to get it. My education is most important to me so that's what I put first. My color code happens to be the colors blue and gold; blue in which I'm helpful, caring, kind, tender, and easy going, and gold in which I am organized, orderly, dependable, procedural, and conventional. I live out both of my colors every day by just doing the things they describe me as. I make sure I'm organized as possible, that why I can get my day going without any hassle, I depend on some things but mostly depend on myself to do anything that I need, and I make sure that I'm helpful to others while displaying a personality of being kind, tender, and sweet. When working with others or in a group, a factor that people should know about me that would better our relationship is that I'm very devoted in anything that I do. If someone isn't putting in any effort as much as I am, don't even bother working with me :) . I make sure people know this factor because it's not fair to me. If I'm a hard worker, I want other hard workers around me as well. This is why likely in a group, I play the role of being a leader, the head in charge (almost always; I volunteer myself a lot as well). I know my strengths of having a determined mindset, being a go-getter, being a person who doesn't like to hear "no" as an answer most of the times. I don't believe I need to maximize my strengths at this point. Everything I am now, I love, and the more I get older, the better I'll be.
