I'm doing some reading in the library, which is my favorite place in the palace. Then all of a sudden, the prior memories began to replay. Although I was aware that it had happened for certain reasons, but I can't get the sensation out of my head.

For a portion of my life, I was a captive of misinformation and disinformation. I'm treated like a weirdo in the place where I once lived. I constantly have a book under my nose, after all. Even my dad, who constantly invents things, is labeled as crazy by some, but all I can think of is how great and intelligent he is. You see, these rumors are not at all true, but how on earth did the other half of my town know about this, though? I observe how someone would have assumed it and then spread the false information to everyone. Which is what you refer to as disinformation, where you knowingly spread misleading information to everyone. The remainder of them then passed it along to those who were spared by it, which is known as misinformation when incorrect information is conveyed without the people being aware of its falsity. Sometimes it led to me feeling anxious, but eventually I started to get used to it.

The love of my life, though, was almost killed as a result of misinformation and disinformation, and that is when I started to take it seriously. Gaston fooled everyone into believing that I was being held hostage by a dangerous beast, and as time passes, he may also be a threat to everyone. However, deep down, I know that he poses no threat to anyone.

Now that technology is a part of most peoples' daily lives, misinformation and disinformation are extremely prevalent.This blog is meant to remind you to avoid being engaged in it since serious consequences may ensue. To avoid being the victims of misinformation and disinformation, check the accuracy of every piece of information you come across before passing it forward to someone else.

Media is crucial in different ways, so we must know what to do and not to do in using it.

In relation to my situation as snow white, I ate an apple without knowing the consequences that I will face after eating it; I did not think before I did, causing me to dive onto sleep for many years. In relating my experience in using media, I must be mindful and think critically of what I will do on the internet because it may have a sensitive impact to others, as well as to prevent myself from trouble and unintentional arguments. I must know how to use it effectively in order for me to avoid misunderstanding, misinforming, and inciting conflict with others. Following such rules was required for me to become a responsible user of the media. As a netizen, I must know that netiquette is one of the basic rules of using media since it is how I present myself to others; How I am in media, how I interact or talk to people using media, and how I maintain my socials as respectful as possible. It is all about the behavior you show on different platforms in the media. The phrase “Think before you click” is used in netiquette, where individuals must think of what to do online before uploading such comments, opinions, or even personal information. Also, in sending messages online, especially via Gmail, you must follow the format in order for you to be formal, especially if it is related to your work or academics. Following these netiquette will protect you from ignorance, and will shape you as a person. As a character who has made a mistake in the past, I do not want to experience that again. Therefore, I will apply what I have learned from it to properly use media.

Being aware of the effects of our online behavior is important for using social media responsibly. It involves taking into consideration the potential effects that our posts, comments, and shares may have on both our personal and professional lives. Respecting others' rights and maintaining an inclusive and safe online environment are also essential components of responsibility. We need to know our limitations and set time management in using social media. Users need to distinguish reliable information and misinformation. Additionally, responsible use promotes a sense of connection and community, enabling people to create lasting friendships and support networks. Protecting security and privacy is a must for using social media responsibly. Users should use caution when disclosing sensitive data that online criminals might use against them. It is essential to regularly check privacy settings and comprehend the effects of the data we share. In order to utilize technology responsibly, one must also avoid cyberbullying, harassment, and sharing of private information. Using social media responsibly requires striking a balance between online and offline activities. To prevent addiction and mental health problems, it involves establishing limits and controlling screen time.

AI tools really had a big effect on us, humans. AI tools can be an advantage for us humans to create a better and easier life. For example, AI tools can help us reduce human error. This also means zero risks because AI tools will do the job for humans to avoid being at risk. Next is 24/7 availability; unlike humans, who need to rest, AI tools are always there, day or night, that can help us in our everyday lives. Also, AI tools give us assistance every day, such as in decision-making, automating tasks, and analyzing data for better understanding. AI helps us to be flexible in any situation and helps us to avoid inconveniences. As for disadvantages, AI tools make humans more lazy and lack creativity. Because AI tools are always there, humans will become lazy, forget to do things, and become dependent on AI tools. This gives us information that shows how AI tools give humans disadvantages and advantages based on different perspectives and in different industries, such as healthcare, transportation, education, etc.

There are surely many effects of AI tools on humans, such as in education, creativity, marketing, and other industries. These effects may have good and bad effects that can make the lives of humans better or worse. But in the end, humans can still decide how to make their lives easier and how AI tools can affect them from different perspectives. This concludes that AI tools can have a good and bad effect at the same time, but it depends on humans how they will allow the AI tools to affect their lives.

Even before the advancement in the media we use, information is being shared and presented on all platforms. Some of us are clueless and do not know what information to consider and what we should set in our minds. It's alarming how media have an enormous impact on our lives. In our tribe, we use the indigenous media in which we hold a social gathering and organization as our way of communication. We also pass down our knowledge through the support of print media. The statements can only be reliable if we see them for ourselves. It's hard for us to trust because of the limited outlets to deliver and obtain information. 

Additionally, it relates to what happened in media around the year 1972. People's access to information is under the control of the government, allowing them to believe anything they've provided. The higher-up also silenced dissent from the general populace and made sure he had the ultimate word on what he claimed to be the truth. This is why people are foolish enough to believe such things without checking if the information is credible. 

In today's social media world, a lot has changed. The media has become more advanced, making us adapt to its new enhancement. Sharing all types of information on all social media platforms has become an ease. We now have the internet, digital games, and film or cinema. It can cause us harm if we do not use it responsibly. This media keeps progressing; we should be more cautious of what we disseminate. I have seen a lot of elderly who have watched fake news on YouTube; it's alarming knowing that they might end up transferring it.

Putting it all together, I cannot completely trust what the media has. I would still use it but as an accountable user. It indeed provides almost everything we need. The alarming thing about it is when we tolerate ourselves leaning on media. I hope every user will be a responsible user, not just a mere consumer.

Information age brought us to the modernity of our world. As a princess that is aware of the social limitations of people, this helps us to have more accessible communication and also, to widely disseminate information. The information age also encompasses everything that gives us information, including books, newspapers, magazines, and not just about technology. Fortunately, accessibility of some information in other countries are limited just like China, North Korea, and Iran. The reason behind it is because of their ordinance in their country that they need to follow.

Having its continued advancement, it brought so many changes in our world to make our life easier. Unlike my sandals, that left behind. Example of this is for studying. We gain information by searching in just one click, because all of the information we need can be seen through online. In addition to serving educational goals, it encourages innovation in our society by making us aware of our surroundings and the most recent global news.

However, considering the positive changes that the Information age presents to us, we need to be aware of its negative impacts. We become more focused on the information that the internet circulates due to the accessibility of the social platforms we use. Unless you do a lot of research, everyone tends to be misinformed by the availability of accessing fake news.

My kingdom and social media are similar, but social media is more harmful, my advice to you is to be cautious as there are several threats and challenges such as cyberbullying, piracy, pornography, digital addiction, hacking, identity theft, scams, and viruses. And yes, I do use the web even though I'm from another dimension. Let's define each one and start with cyberbullying. Earthlings can now harass others through digital technology, specifically on online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. How horrible! Negative opinions and thoughts of others can now easily spread because of technology. There is also digital piracy, which is the act of stealing and selling someone else's work by downloading and/or sharing intellectual property and copyrighted information without paying for it. Earthlings can now easily access adult content on several websites, because of the ease of access, anyone, including children, can view it without hesitation, therefore parents should check their children's searches. Humans are now experiencing digital addiction, particularly among teenagers, who spend countless hours scrolling and being present in the fake world behind the screen with which they become obsessed. On the internet, there are also hackers, who are evil guys who use computers to gain unauthorized access to data. These hackers can steal your identity because they now obtain your personal information, such as your Social Security Number, bank account number, and Account password. Hackers are like people who took my spellbook without permission, am I right? I turned them into trolls haha, what can I say, Karma! anyway,

there is also what they call Internet fraud, which entails using online services and software with internet connectivity to scam or exploit victims, and finally, which you are most likely to encounter when browsing the web, a computer virus, which is a type of malicious software, or malware, that travels across computers and causes data and software harm. Computer viruses are designed to disrupt systems, pose major operational issues, and cause data loss and leakage.

So you should be careful about what you click, think first darling.

But the good side of technology is that it created tons of opportunities for humans like digital job hiring, freedom of expression, access to education, informing and keeping the masses up to date, empowering citizens, and faster and free communication.

Unemployed humans can now find work through the Internet since it is more accessible, and businesses and workplaces are now using it to find Employees as everyone can see their job offer when they post it online. The web has had a tremendous impact on free expression. People can now converse freely and share their thoughts without fear of censorship or retaliation. This has facilitated the emergence of new ideas, the dissemination of knowledge, and the discussion of contentious issues.

Also, my human friends who don't comprehend their teachers' discussions in school can search the web for issues that they don't grasp, they can search the internet about anything, which sounds like paradise but for some individuals is dystopia because you can search for anything good and bad at the same time. You can also get up-to-date information from reputable websites at any time and from any location.

Building online communities and connecting people with a shared interest is an excellent illustration of how the internet empowers everyone.

It also provides free communication; you may speak with anyone anytime and anywhere as long as you have an internet connection; you can talk via messages, video chats, and calls.
