I was born and raised in Garden City, Michigan, and have lived in Michigan all my life. I have spent time living in the Dearborn area for three years and currently live in Canton, Michigan, with my wife and dog.

Where I have been

I graduated from High School in 2016. After High School, I gave college a try but decided it was not for me at the time. I have worked many odd jobs over the years, but I currently work for Ford Motor Company in Wayne, Michigan, at the Michigan Assembly Plant, where we assemble the Broncos and Rangers. I have spent time all over the factory, but currently I work in the paint shop where I prep the vehicles for their color.

Where I am trying to go

I am currently in school at Washtenaw Community College to finish my associate's degree in general studies. After completing my associate's degree, I plan to transfer to Eastern Michigan University to work towards getting a bachelor's and eventually a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. In my own story and journey, therapy has always been a helpful resource and tool, and enough people told me that it would be something I would personally be good at that I decided to start working towards it.

Favorites and Hobbies

My favorite food is my wife's sweet potato skillet made with either ground turkey or beef, diced sweet potatoes, onions, seasonings, peppers, and cheese. My favorite dessert has always been and probably always will be ice cream (extra points if the ice cream is paired with a brownie or slice of cake). I really enjoy spending time with friends and family, particularly my church community. I also really enjoy reading a good book, or reading a comic books that have a good story and captivating art. I also enjoy playing video games and watching movies; however, I very rarely have time to play games or watch movies. I just finished the main story of the game Jedi: Survivor, and it took me 14 months to do, and my favorite movie so far this year was James Gunn’s Superman.

Duck

This is our dog. His name is Duck, and he is a very good boy. He likes to roll around in the grass and play his own version of monkey in the middle, where he just runs between my wife and me as we call his name. He likes very long walks and stopping to sniff anything that could have any scent to it. He does not like going with me for runs because that means he can't stop and sniff all of the things.

Faith and Church

My faith is really important to me, and probably the defining thing that I want to be known for and that I want my life to be marked by. I personally believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be, that He rose from the dead, conquering sin and death, and that through faith in Jesus, people can experience God’s forgiveness and have hope of eternal life with Him. One day, Jesus will return to make all things new, and all who know Jesus will be raised to life. The church I attend actually meets in the Townsley Auditorium of WCC on Sunday mornings, and we are also partnered with the Salt Company student Ministry at the University of Michigan.
