When transporting products, we must consider not only the economic effects of the product itself, but more importantly the impact on the transport environment and minimise the environmental stress caused by transporting the product. The carbon dioxide produced when transporting products has a significant impact on the environment, mainly from fuel consumption. Air transport generates 400 to 700 grams of CO2 per tonne-kilometre, road freight emits 75 to 160 grams of CO2 per tonne-kilometre, sea freight emits 5 to 60 grams of CO2 per tonne-kilometre and rail freight emits 10 to 120 grams of CO2 per tonne-kilometre. Our products are inherently sustainable, so we choose sea and rail transport to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate environmental pollution

I need to complete the environmental pollution caused by this project, as well as the measures that need to be improved, and which fabrics cause pollution to the environment when they are produced. I need to fully study which fabrics are considered sustainable fabrics and whether they have an impact on the environment. I need to have reading skills and information access skills
I think the sustainability project is very good. It allows me to understand that people also pollute the environment in their daily lives. It allows me to further understand sustainability, but I am also very worried because protecting the environment does not only depend on a small part of it. Groups to save environmental problems, but now there are too few people to understand, and we need everyone’s joint efforts.
When we promote sustainable fabrics, we should also pay attention to publicity to let people fully understand the impact on the environment and increase people's awareness of sustainability. My next step is to add sustainable elements to clothes elements so that it can convey more information to people

Problems in the environmental industry

As a fashion design student, he discovered environmental problems while studying the clothing industry
One is the environmental impact of fabrics used in the production of clothes. Most of the unsustainable fabrics cannot be reused when looking back. Therefore, most of them are buried in the ground or burned, causing environmental pollution to the environment and reducing soil fertility. Therefore, we In order to reduce the pressure on the environment, we choose sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton. The organic cotton process is pollution-free, and unsustainable fabrics require a lot of water to irrigate, while organic cotton only needs a small amount of water, so we choose sustainable materials
The second is that when clothes are transported, transportation will cause serious air pollution to the environment. Therefore, we recommend rail transportation and sea transportation by comparing the ratio of transportation to environmental pollution.

I have a group presentation with Pony, Coco and Tiantian
I feel that working in a group is a kind of learning for me. Everyone helps me in times of difficulty and makes me feel like a group. The common progress of everyone in my studies makes me very happy.
Pony is responsible for the design concept of the product, Coco is responsible for the sustainable packaging of the product, Tiantian is responsible for the fabric selection of the product, and I is responsible for the transportation of the product
At the beginning, the concept of the product needs to be designed first is also the most basic thing. Only when the concept of the product is defined can the next step of development be done. The next step is the outer contour design of the product and then the fabric that composes the product. The third step is packaging. , Because most of the product packaging now ignores the concept of sustainability, we decided to include it in this step, and finally the product transportation. When making a collective decision, you need to say your opinions, share their opinions, learn from each other's strengths, and finally summarize your opinions together to form the final decision. When you encounter search materials, you will encounter some difficulties because it is difficult to contact at the beginning To understand the knowledge about sustainability, everyone is very enthusiastic to help me search for knowledge, which will help me to have experience when I search for information next time

I have also conducted research on the sustainability concepts of some product designers, because I want to learn more of their design concepts and understand more about the embodiment of sustainable concepts in clothing design. I will learn from their experience and innovate into it. In my future clothing design, I think this research is necessary because they are at the forefront of the sustainable road and absorb their experience to make sustainability go further in clothing design. I think innovative clothing packaging I am very interested, because most people ignore this point and pay more attention to the sustainability of the clothing itself. I think the next step should be to study the material of the packaging box, so that the packaging box and the clothes can develop together in a sustainable way.
