Student Feedback for SSLC - 28 April 2022 by Anonymous

Our third and final Student-Staff-Liaison-Committee (SSLC) of 2022 is coming up on Thursday, 28th of April, and your Student Representatives would like to hear from you. Please include feedback (positive or not so great) either about the course overall, a module, assignments, teaching, or anything else at all. All feedback will be anonymously passed on to our Programme Leader at the SSLC meeting. Feedback will be addressed, and the minutes discussed will later be distributed back to the cohort. This is an excellent opportunity to share your thoughts one last time!

I agree with the earlier comments that this module has been a bit unorganised. I understand we have the actual placement hours to do- which are independent. But considering we are actually graded on how we write about what we done it seems a little unfair that we have not been given much guidance on the assignments. I am especially concerned about the upcoming presentation- I dont think anything has been said to us about this. Is it online? In person? A powerpoint upload?

I think the assignment for this module should be due in after our dissertation, or in the Easter half term as having it due one week before adds a lot of stress to an already stressful time. Even if we use our once a semester free extension, it would then be due on the same day as our diss which does not help for stress or time management.
