         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think the Dust Bowl should be included in this slide because it was an important event in the Great Depression. The Dust Bowl was a period of dust storms caused by droughts and a failure to apply dryland farming methods to prevent wind erosion. The phenomenon covered fields with dust and even blocked out the sun at times.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Unemployment was a massive part of the depression and I wanted to learn more about it. A vast amount of the people during this time were unemployed, and it left them on the streets looking for food.</div>]]></description>

I think this should be more explained in the hyper doc because there is a lot we could compare a sit down strikes to previous strike we have learned about.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I would like to know more about Prohibition during the Great Depression and how widely it affected America. Hundreds of gallons were destroyed due to the new law, and people were unhappy. Progressives and mothers were happy about it, but many men weren't. The picture here represents how many gallons were destroyed by the government in such little time. The ban was repealed soon after for the government to collect more money from taxes. </div>]]></description>
