The future of nursing will be affected by technology in the following areas. Many hospitals have increased the use of technology since the start of covid. Technology in each room helps providers print labels and be able to collect samples right then without waiting for the lab creating shorter diagnoses times. Many hospitals have started tracking equipment with bluetooth trackers as nurses spent up to 40 hours a month looking for equipment. These trackers also improve accurate OR times, patient discharge, and room turnover.
