Universal Studios has remained on our list of places to see for a very long time, so we are thrilled to finally be able to go. We're really thrilled about Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. We are both obsessed with Halloween , and we've been counting down the days until we can visit all the frightening houses, horrific scare zones, and roller coasters. People have said that the atmosphere is great, and it sounds like a great way to start the Halloween season. We are really excited to visit!

  • I started off my reading week celebrating thanksgiving with my family where we ate some of my favourite thanksgiving foods and spent much needed quality time together

    • I got into the fall and Halloween spirit by baking apple crumble and watching Hocus Pocus with my boyfriend

    • I did some shopping during the week

    • Went out for some delicious Italian food to celebrate my boyfriend's graduation

    • Plans to meet up with friends and try a new jungle brunch spot downtown

    • Getting ahead on assignments and preparing myself for school placement next week

I did get to spend more time with friends and family during thanksgiving weekend and a few times throughout the week. I watched a horror movie (Smile 2) with my boyfriend. I closed my eyes for most of the scary scenes though, but I still enjoyed it. Overall, it was a restful reading week.

It was great. We of course, got some lobster rolls and clam chowder. The hot lobster roll is always better, not sure why I still get the cold one. I highly recommend you all visit Boston at some point in the fall, it's well worth it. Hope you all had a restful reading week as well!

The whole week I was preparing for a Halloween party that me and my boyfriend were throwing at his cottage, we went as Jason Voorhees and a camp counsellor. When I returned from the cottage, me, my mom and two of my aunts went to the Cyndi Lauper concert, which was pretty iconic.
