I agree that he is immature and foolish.I can see this as he is obsessed with Rosaline and he is in love with the idea of love that Rosaline herself.He does not have the mindset that separates physical and genuine love and he cannot choose which one.Instead,he confuses 2 of them which makes him very foolish.When he was devastated he could not get Rosaline’s love,he quickly moved on to Juliet.It shows how he did not even care about the past and wanted to find love as soon as possible.He is not intelligent enough to know how love works,he shows a sudden declaration of love as he wants to find someone new to be with.

Romeo is an immature person. the reason why i would say so is because of his impulsiveness. when he first saw Juliet, Romeo immediately fell in love for her presence and it shows that he just wants to find love. he was so devastated without rosaline yet he immediately falls in love. He was also obsessive towards rosaline which shows that he was infatuated with her, not in love. this also shows that he confuses physical attraction over genuine love. if he was a mature person, he would have taken the time and space to process his feeling and heal himself, not look for other women to fall in love with.

I agree. This is because in his conversation with Benvolio in Act 1 Scene 1, Romeo uses a plethora of contradicting oxymorons to express his grief of rejection by Rosaline, and although the rejection might just have been a small misfortune, Romeo overreacts to the point that he declares that he feels dead on the inside simply because of the one rejection he had. Additionally, the moment he sees Juliet in Capulet’s feast, he instantly falls in love with her, almost instantly forgetting about the rejection he had, as shown by his words “Did my heart love until now”, clearly showing his infatuation for Juliet.

Yes i think he immature and foolish because he is tends to look more onto appearances rather than personality which he kinda sexualisesmthem in a way showing his immaturity in th plot as hes like 16 or something and then he is very impulsive, switching from rosalins to juliet , going to an extent where he says that he has never saw true beauty until he met juliet. Also, he knew he was going to crash the party of the capulet but he still went to the party shwijn his impulsivity bla bla bla

Romeo is an immature and foolish character. Earlier in the play Romeo confusion about Rosaline immature because of his exeggaration and dramatic reactions towards the rejection of declaring his love to Rosaline. Later on when both Romeo and Juliet attended the same event called "the mask" Romeo was fascinated by Juliet. He immediately falls in love with her looks and claims that he has moved on from Rosaline. Romeo is also head over heels over Juliet even when she just met him once. It shwos how he is immature because of how quickly he moved on. He is also foolish because of how he loves the idea of love the appearnace rather than genuine love. It also shows that he acts impulsively when his shift of love.

Romeo is immature and foolish because he acts on impulse and moves quickly from Rosaline to Juliet even though he was completely obsessed with Rosaline before laying eyes on Juliet. Romeo also confuses physical attraction with genuine love. There was no connection between Romeo and the two lady, Rosaline and Juliet, he was only attracted to their physical beauty. Furthermore, Romeo declares his love to Juliet upon meeting her showing impulsivity and emotional unstability.

Yes, i do agree with how romeo is immature and foolish as he likes to use oxymorons to describe love which suggests that he is not mature enough to understand the true idea of love.Since he does not understand it, he confused himself and used contradicting phrases and could not point out to just one single idea of love.Also just after getting rejected by Rosaline and was feeling devastated, he suddenly fell in love with the sight of Juliet.This shows how he only fell in love just by seeing her and not through knowing her which shows how he is a very simple guy and acts on impulse.He does not need to have time to comprehend the love felt but instead just fell in love just like that.This also shows how he just transitions from feeling a negative emotion to feeling happy.
