1. Our observations highlight that women interpret gender inequality as being more prominent than men, and they support the deployment of initiatives to raise insight and understanding and take appropriate action. It conveys firm and credible proof that men and women, despite of age or status in life, have distinct perspectives on the gender gap.

2. I believe, that men and women are individuals, with different goals and desires in life. I believe that eliminating discrimination against women just because they are women and against men just because they are men, this is a worthy and attainable aim. And we need to keep at it because we aren’t there yet.

But we’ll never reach perfect equality on paper for every single individual woman or man. Grouping together all women and outlining what we as a society expect from them (career, family, self-confidence, overall badassery) has us falling into another trap similar to what we are trying to get out of telling women how they should live their life. If a woman chooses to stay at home and be a home-builder, then we’d all cry out but why did we go to all the trouble to provide equal opportunities in education, career, etc. if you’re going to stay home like in ancient times.

The point is that women and men to have a choice. Once we have a choice in the matter, both men and women have a choice to love or work with. Then we have equality. But we need to let individuals make their choices in life and support whatever their decisions.

3. Our conclusions or insights gained from these interviews are that equitable accessibility to all resources not only generates opportunity benefits but also offers every individual a voice in their own decisions. Assuring that everyone, regardless of gender, has equal confidence to create the most of their capabilities and strengths.
