         <description><![CDATA[<div>Source from website "eresources.nlb.gov.sg/Indonesia/articles'<br><br>I can infer that the Japanese had took over the whole Cathay building as their office which use to be the one of few places left for relaxation.Recreational activities were reduced due to Japanese occupation .<br>Evidence :<br>Happy world, which use to be created mainly to families with children,but cause of the Japanese ,they had a lack of entertainment as the happy world had been changed by the Japanese for gambling to earn extra taxes.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After studying all the aspect, I learned that there's big changes of aspect of people during the Japanese occupation .</div><div><br></div><div>First change in recreational activity  , the sources shows that before the Japanese occupation ,people use to have a lot of entertainment while during the Japanese occupation,they have lack of entertainment and life becomes boring . There were also activities such as watching movies,parks for families and children's .According to the source from the website about Cathay building ,the building contains cinema and restaurant .This is the one of the few places for people's relaxation before the Japanese occupation .But during the Japanese occupation ,the Japanese broadcasting department moved into the building and occupied it .This tells me that recreational  activity is very restricted during the Japanese occupation </div><div><br></div><div>Second change in aspect of education , the source from textbook page 30 shows that they must learn Japanese ,singing the japanese national anthem during the Japanese occupation .According to the source ,I know that there's no big changes of aspectation of education this tell me that during the Japanese occupation there's no big changes in aspect of education to people but changes in language they learn.</div><div><br></div><div>Last changes is about the working condition or daily life of people the source from textbook page 33 shows that the people must bow to the emperor ,if not you are showing disrespect and you will get punishment ,their life is difficult as they need to learn Japanese and learn to sing Japanese national anthem which they never learned before as they had been learning English before the Japanese occupation . According to the source, I learned that the Japanese had brought fear and hardship to many people's during the Japanese occupation .</div><div><br></div><div>From all these aspects ,I can conclude that during the Japanese occupation , the aspect of people life had changed .</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can infer that there's no changes of aspectation of education to the people during the Japanese occupation cause that they still had education but there's only changes in language <br><br>Evidence: <br>This source shows me a photo of education before Japanese occupation and its state that ' before the Japanese occupation depend on what language school they went to and depends on race ' but the photo after Japanese occupation states that ' the student still have education but learn Japanese instead of their Mother tongue ' this tells me that the Japanese forced people to learn their language so that people would not communicate in language that they don't understand </div>]]></description>
