It also feeds in to the waters that animals&nbsp;use to find their prey.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Even though the dunes in kobuk valley are near the arctic they still get very high temperatures and sometimes reach up to 100 degrees. These dunes are also the largest and highest sand dunes in the arcitc. This is from the mountains giving off cool air and the dunes end up with warm air coming towards them because the trees block the cool air.</div>]]></description>
