The film has no real narrative and the focus of the peices is the suit she made with the main inspiration being here Granmothers bucket list trip to Brighton before she died.

This also leads on to the type of b-roll/cut away footage i was given as i should of given more direction into what type of footage we needed (so more landscape and a wider varierty of shots and places) so what i could of done was go back up to Belper to do this myself in the future. ]]> 2023-04-21 11:05:43 UTC https://padlet.com/twatson75/t9kr4r6e2mt4s1mv/wish/2563115916 twatson75 https://padlet.com/twatson75/t9kr4r6e2mt4s1mv/wish/2563121799 This is the project i think shows best my editing skills as my focus and passion is in offline editing. Given that i was limited due to problems with footage i managed to work around this well and build the opeing narrative and conflicts between the characters in a succesfull way. 
I wish i had got the chance to get all the footage for this film as i would of loved to explore the horror and creeper elements of the story and also would of been able to explore more into the sound desgin as the 6 minutes i submited didn't call for much experimental sound design. Thoguh i am happy with the sync of the audio and the video as these were given seprately so was a challenge again to make sync everything up then when editing choicing which was the best take when it came to making the right visuals and the digoulge flow. 
The best scene for me would be the final scene with them all at the dinner tabel. This project is defefinetly making me chanlenge myself more due to having no narrative and having a mix of freedom but also constriction from lauras own ideas.

So i orignaly planned to do two editing projects and a colour grading project but as i was rushing just to get at least a minute of something done for formative i realised that doing the colour grading project was not going to work and defiently made me realise that my main focus was going to be on offline editing.
