Following the reading of Redefining the Teacher's Role in Education through Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) by Haci Hasan Yolcu, one can hardly doubt that AGI could significantly revolutionize education. Throughout the article, one can get an idea of how AGI can take care of many administrative and pedagogical tasks, including grading, monitoring student progress, and even developing personalized learning plans. Yolcu proposes that AGI should be complementing teachers rather than displacing them and allowing them to devote more time to more human focused aspects of teaching, now He also points out the need for ethical awareness in algorithmic decision-making, for example, data privacy and fairness.
