         <description><![CDATA[<p>Opeth's use of odd time signatures, lengthy compositions and influences of folk, jazz and classical music made them a stand out for me. Guitarist Michael Akerfeldt is one of my biggest influences as a songwriter, he proved that you don't need to be the fastest shredder in the scene to be a good guitarist. </p>]]></description>

Camel's guitarist Andy Latimer influenced Mikael Akerfeldt so much that on Opeth's album Ghost Reveries there is a song called ' The Baying of the Hounds' which features a guitar solo similar to that of Andy's </p><p>( Akerfeldt ,2014)</p>]]></description>
