This basically means to do a little bit of revision over time (e.g. do 15 minutes of reviewing vocab everyday). This "little bit" you do everyday will eventually build up and be extremely helpful for your unit tests and final exam, as you have been doing revision the whole time. It's very similar to a technique called "Spaced Repetition".

Make sure you manage your time especially when it comes to splitting social, studying and taking care of your well-being. It is important that you take breaks in between studying but also keeping it at a consistent pace so you don't study too much or not study.

You don’t necessarily need to spend entire days for weeks and months to get good grades in your GCSEs. Make sure you thoroughly understand what you learn in class, maybe spending 10-15 minutes per subject after school. Your notes should be concise, but including key points. Try not to write long blocks of text, stick to bullet points - if it is important though, don’t leave it out for the sake of making your notes ‘pretty’ or short.
If you completely understand what you learnt in class each time, you simply need to do a quick refresher before tests to do well. For the mocks or real exams do a bunch of past papers.

Make sure to take time for yourself, read a good book, go out for a walk, go hang out with your friends. Studying and revising is important but so is knowing to take a break once in a while.

Don't spend time making pretty notes - it doesn't help. If you can understand what's going on in class and go home and do a few past paper questions without too much trouble, you should be able to get atleast a B. For the A or A*, this just means balancing all your subjects and ensuring that you work on the subjects that you find the hardest - no point going over the same easy stuff you already know!

As usual, things do get a bit stressful at times and it is completely okay to get anxious. I know it may seem like a lot to juggle going into your first set of serious exams, keeping up with friends and school sports. Although please don't let this take over. If you continue to stay on top of your work for the rest of the year ,you will most definitely be fine! WORK HARD! you got this! :)))))

I think it is very important to know your way of studying and revising because for everyone it is different. Some people find flash cards, mind maps or quizlets useful but other people find notes in a note book easier to revise from. I didn’t want to make my notes look overwhelming so I put all the information I needed on one huge page and I found that easier compared to flicking through lots of individual sheets of paper. But that was my preference. Just do what works for you :)
