He was arrested and a year later let out on parole for people that seemed much more dangerous, not knowing about the murder. Later that day he stole an old car with the key left in the transmission. It was so worthless the owner never bothered to file it stolen. He saw a girl named maria running on the side of the road, Maria was a track star and he liked what he saw. He put her in the trunk and pulled to a secluded area, she was found a couple days later hidden behind a bush. The next track meet was dedicated to Maria who was likely to win the meet. Eddie is a cop that is expecting a kid soon, one day while his wife was working, he built the whole nursery for his kid to surprise her, he left a note before he left saying not to go in the room. This was almost the last time he was home. Later that day, while watching his nephew play soccer, he saw a suspicous car parked in the parking lot with Macy sleeping inside. He walked up to the car startling Macy, trying to see if he needed help, Macy quickly and frantically grabbed his gun without Eddie seeing, he hid his gun on his right hip squeezing the trigger, and just when he was about to pull it out, Eddie hears cheering from the game and runs over, his nephew had blocked a shot. He says his name is Joe, and gets close to them because he likes Jessie. He usually finished his food fast so he doesn't have to talk to anyone, but one day he made sure he was alone with Jessie who was cleaning the kitchen. He walked over and she didn't hear him due to the music playing. He likes what he sees so he pulls over and makes her get in the trunk. She didn't hesitate and when she was in the trunk she started to find a way to either stop the vehicle or leave clues through the hole in the trunk. They pull down the only dirt road in shilo and it starts raining.
