         <description><![CDATA[<p>Look up to find the spider monkeys as they make the canopies their habitat.&nbsp; They are well adapted to the region. Don't get scared if a spider monkey barks loudly at you. That's just their natural behaviour. </p><p>Watch them swing across vines throughout the day, while at night they spend the night sleeping in the vast canopy of the Amazon. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Passiflora produces the Passion fruit which is an oval shaped fruit. </p><p>One bite of this juicy fruit will send you into a world of your own. </p><p>It can be eaten raw or made into delicious jam or jelly. This flower with its bright red colours attracts many hummingbirds and bees.  So be ready with your camera, when a hummingbird pops up! </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Footwear - Rubber boots are good as they dry quickly, the rainforest will be quite wet. Sandals should be worn when you are at the lodge or back at the camp to left your feet breath and walk around comfortably. </p><p>Body-wear - Warm clothes are good as it gets cold at night and also clothes that dry quickly. Loose, long-sleeved shirts and trousers that dry easily are also helpful. </p><p>Others - A simple and durable poncho or a raincoat would be good to be kept in the backpack for sudden rainfall. A simple brimmed hat would also help with blocking the overhanging vines.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>There are two main seasons in the Amazon rainforest: the dry season and the wet season.  The rainy season lasts from December to June, and during the months of April and May, the rainforest experiences daily rains.  The dry season lasts from July to November.</p><p>Some regions of the rainforest can be warmer than others. The temperature remains generally constant throughout the year. <br><br></p>]]></description>
