Chemicals regulations such as ⁠<a href="https://www.umweltbundesamt.de/service/glossar/r?tag=REACH#alphabar">REACH</a>⁠ can support several aspects of sustainable chemistry. The report gives a systematic analysis on the relations between main elements of REACH (e.g. Registration or Information in the supply chain) and main elements of sustainable chemistry (e.g. substitution of hazardous substances or corporate social responsibility of companies).<br><br></div><div>From data on problematic properties of chemicals up to information for consumers on substances of very high concern (SVHC) in articles: REACH supports already today sustainable chemistry in many ways. The work of the Alliance supports the ‘Beyond 2020 inter-sessional process’ – mandated in 2015 by the 4th International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM4) – and the adoption of its recommendations that are to be considered at ICCM5.<br>For more information on how to join, please see the attached flyer.</div>]]></description>
