She uses her fingers to suck on in replace of her pacifier at times. Addison’s skin is very dry. She still has her umbilical cord stump and he diaper is kept folded down to prevent irritation. Though she can barely see her eyes are wide open. She sleeps most the day but wakes up for feedings. She’s a very calm baby and doesn’t do too much.

According to Piaget, Addison has now entered the pre-operational stage in the sub stage "symbolic function" because she likes to draw and color based on the things she observes around her(Santrock, 2015). For instance, she likes to draw houses and dogs whenever she has free time. She also engages in ego-centrism. When sat in front of an block she can only describe what's in front of the side of the block that she is in front of. She doesn't realize that on the opposite side there are different objects and doesn't understand perspective. Addison also shows animism. When asked how did she fall she responded by saying "The wind tripped me and made me fall". Addison is also using private speech. When she's playing with her baby dolls she always talks to it and describes what she is doing. For instance, if she is "feeding" it she says "I feed baby". According to Vygotsky, Private speech is very good for her because it help her to develop a more social life and to become smarter(Santrock, 2015).

Addison has no issues of attachment, she actively seeks her caregiver and lights up with a smile every time she sees her caregiver pick her up from daycare. Although she has no trouble developing a relationship with unfamiliar people she is still a bit bashful/shy. She did protest to her mother leaving daycare the first few days but eventually, she has developed a sense of friendship with her peers.
According to Maria Montessori, her daycare comes with a Montesorri approach although they have some fun learning activities such as learning to sing the ABC’s and learning how to color/scribble. She is properly being socialized at her daycare although some kids are bullies, however the daycare instructor has been handling it properly. She begins to love daycare and there has been improvements on her confidence.
At home, Addison has almost complete autonomy until it means injuring herself. According to Vygotsky, in some cases she needs a push in her zone of proximal development even though she loves to explore (Santrock, 2015). She is a natural athlete, she loves to compete. Her caregiver only seldomly punishes or ‘overprotects’ when her toddler causes impatience or irritation, because her caregiver is a bit stressed from work but understands her child simply does not know any better.

Addison is now in the intuitive thought substage according to Piaget(Santrock, 2015). She is very curious now and wants to know the answers to every single question there is. One time she asked "What makes the sun shine a lot?" As a parent, it is pretty challenging to answer some of her questions because I don't really know a good way to put it into words so that she understands but I can understand the reason to her questions very well. The conservation test was performed on Addison and as the average 4 year old, she replied by saying the glass that was the tallest had the most liquid in it. She doesn't yet understand that the shape of the object doesn't change the density and mass of the liquid. When answering Addison's questions you have to guide her in order for her to get to the right answer because she doesn't really understands. However, the gap between what she does know and what she doesn't is known as Zone of Proximal Development(Santrock,2015). She has to get the basics of the information first to apply it and build on it which according to Vygotsky is known as Scaffolding(Santrock, 2015). In the article, "Children's understanding of their own and others' mental states," the researchers wanted to know if using a diverse deceptive box or unexpected alterations would affect the child's own understanding. According to the research, the authors state that, "children performed better on deceptive box tasks when the other person was present rather than absent; they performed equally on accidental and intentional unexpected transfer tasks" (Mitchell & Neal, 2005. 201). Addison does very well at understanding others' false belief rather than her own, but she is very close to reaching the stage of understanding. At about 5 to 6 years old Addison will start to recognize her own false beliefs.

She is developing a sense of self and constantly imitates those around her. Addison is in preschool from 8 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. She loves going and playing with her new friends. Addison understands the difference between right and wrong. She is interested in playing dress up and having tea parties with her friends.

Addison has now entered the concrete operational stage. Her perspective and reasoning of the conservation test has changed. She now understands that both of the glasses has the same amount of liquid in both of the containers. She can now utilize seriation which is the ability to sort things based on sequence. When she was in the toddler stage she could only sort them in groups based on how big or small they were. Addison's long-term memory is increasing with her age now. She also engages in autobiographical memory which is the ability to answer questions like "Who was your first grade teacher?" "What did you do for your 5th birthday". According to Sternberg Triarchic Theory, Addison has practical intelligence (Santrock, 2015. She is like the average 7 year old and understand and knows how to apply her knowledge to different subjects. Addison utilizes the 8 frames of mind also. Addison reads very well for her age and has good penmanship. According to research, there was "A life history approach to delineating how harsh environments and hawk temperament traits differentially shape children's problem-solving skills" (Suor, Sturge‐Apple, Davies, & Cicchetti, D., 2017, 902). Addison is always surrounded by other children with easy-going temperaments in good environments which affects her in a positive way. She doesn't have trouble with problem-solving and being obedient because she's never been in a bad environment that allows those traits.

How has Addison or Addy changed?
~The self: Addy thinks of herself as very athletic, friendly, and sweet. She does not deal with violence well. But she has high self-esteem and confidence.
~Gender: Addy still firmly believes she is a female, although some people tease her for having masculine characteristics. She now understands gender roles don't have to exist, since her parents have androgynous roles.
~Moral: Addy is now understanding why people do the things they do, even if the law says otherwise. She has strong yet flexible morals.
~Peers/peer status: Addy is often neglected by her peers but she is beginning developing friendships to overcome that status.
~Friends: She may not have many friends, her only friends greatly support her and they are very close in intimacy.
~Parenting styles: Her parents are still authoritative, her mother is more firm now in order to keep her daughter from feeling helpless and for her to socialize properly.
~Influence of family: Small and deep family support, Addy is still closest to her dad. Her family wants Addy to go into sports.
According to Erickson, Addison is experiencing the Industry vs. inferiority stage; Addison is almost allowed to experiment anything she wants, she is very curious to how things work(Santrock, 2015).
According to Kohlberg, Addy is advanced morally at her age, she is just stepping into the conventional level, stage three. She understands why people do the things they do(Santrock, 2015, p. 311).

According to Piaget, Addison entered the formal operational stage at the age of 11(Santrock, 2015). She is now 19, graduated from high school and now in college studying zoology. Her thoughts are very mature now and more abstract than concrete operational thought. She can reason logically about hypothetical events. Addison utilizes imaginary audience in egocentrism. She thinks that when ever she enters a room full of people all eyes are on her and she is being discussed. Her cognitive control has increased since being an categorized in the middle and late childhood as well as her decision making. She knows who to hang around, which person to date, go to college, whether to have sex, etc.(Santrock,2015). Addison utilizes critical thinking skills all the time, especially since she is in college now. Addison graduated high school with honors and was number 2 in her entire class. She is still playing soccer but now plays on a college level. Addison is very involved with service learning.. She is always helping out the community by tutoring

Addison started working a paid internship when she was 16 at the local zoo and continued to advance through the years. She was recently promoted to a manager and received an advance in pay that significantly helped in her household. This increase in pay will help Addison continue to pay for school and she will finally be able to afford a home of her own.

Self & self-esteem: Addy’s body image and self-esteem has generally dropped, due trying to fit society’s standards. She is still an athlete and still competes in sports which does boost her confidence.
Gender: She is a tomboy and doesn’t care for “lady-like” manners.
Peer groups: She enjoys her friends at college than she did at high-school, she has made friends there quickly and she hangs out with people of similar interest.
Families and parents: Her family/parents are supporting her on going to college although she is unsure on what to do, she is thinking about getting a zoology major.
Influence of school: She is currently in college taking general studies in science. The school has a great support system and is guiding Addison and helping her choose on what she wants to do. She enjoys college and the staff. According to James Marcia, she is in identity diffusion- no commitment or firm interest (Santrock, 2015).
Service learning: Addison does work for internship. In her free time she does volunteering to gain hours for a scholarship. She is exploring more majors this way.
According to Erikson, she is in the stage of Identity vs. identity confusion (Santrock, 2015). She knows she wants to work with animals, she is inspired by them. here are very many majors for her to choose from.
According to Kohlberg, Addison is in level 3, stage 5 of Kohlberg's stages of moral development (Santrock, 2015, p. 311); Addison believes laws or social systems should fit for the majority of the population and to protect them. She may hate some of the laws/social systems.

In early adulthood, "According to Piaget, although adults are quantitatively more knowledgeable than adolescents, adults do not enter a new, qualitatively different stage.(Santrock, 2015, 428) Addison has increased her knowledge in a specific area which is Biology. She loves studying cells and animals, etc. Addison is very creative. She loves to engage in art time with her children. Entering midlife, Addison's intelligence focuses on fluid and crystallized intelligence (Santrock,2012). Her crystallized intelligence is expanding, which is "an individual's accumulated information and verbal skills...) (Santrock, 2015, 471) However, her fluid intelligence begins to decline. When instructed to act on something quickly or "as soon as", she tends to react slower than she would've in adolescence and early adulthood. There is" a significant increase in spirituality."(Santrock, 2015, 478) because of the life events she has experienced. She is very religious, a Christian, and attends church often.

She is still physically active and trying to get back into shape. She now wears a Medium in most clothes, still wears a size 7 in womens' sneakers and size 36D in bras. She has lost 27lbs since her last child, her 8 month old son, Joshua, and her stomach is almost flat again with the exception of a small pudge and a few stretch marks around her belly button and hips. She still plays soccer, but more for fun now being that she has very little time on her hands between family and work. She is still pretty healthy but has slowed down on running after her second child, her 3 year old daughter Abigail. She is working a lot harder to get her body back now than she had to with her first child. She weighed 128lbs when she conceived with her first son, four year old Adrian Jr, and weighed 131 after only two weeks of birth. It's a little overwhelming at times, but she is determined to get back in shape, her husband and children call her "Super Mom"

She retired at 67 years old and did not return to work, for she had to stay home and take care of her husband whom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. She has plenty of age spots on her arms and a few on her face. Her back is severely arched and she has a ton of wrinkles from head to toe. Her speech has slowed down drastically as well as her movements and walking which Santrock stated researchers have linked this to the shrinkage of the prefrontal cortex which shrinks with age (Santrock,2012,17). She sleeps about 6/7 hours a night. She wakes up at about 4 or 5am every morning and makes a cup of tea with a slice of toast. She is still healthy for her age, but she no longer exercises besides walks to the grocery store about twice a week which is only 2 streets down from her house. Her eyes have turned grey now from loss of vision and her hair is grey and white and is still pretty long.

Addison is now 80 and some of her dimensions are declining while some are stable.(Santrock, 2015) The dimension that decline is Cognitive mechanics which is the reaction time to sensory input, attention, visual and motor memory, discrimination, comparison, and categorization.(Santrock, 2015) Her cognitive pragmatics increases with age. Addison has not returned to college nor work because she is retired from working and now helps out with her husband who has alzheimers. She isn't back in college because she has already graduated with her degrees and pursued her career. Addison is still sort of active, especially with caring for her husband so, her working memory has declined but she still remembers important things for the sake of taking care of her husband. However, she still seems to take a little longer to do things due to a decline in the brains prefrontal cortex

Addison peacefull passed away in her sleep at 92 years old of natural causes. She lived a long healthy and happy life. Leading up to her final days she was physically tired and drained. She was still able to go to the restroom without assistance and take care of herself most of the time, though her daughter visited her 2-3x a week to check on her, and her sons visited once a week. After her husband passed 2 years ago she was not the same. She didn't have the same happy energy anymore. She stayed in her bed or in the couch most of the time and was not active at all. Her daughter bought her groceries she rarely went outside. She lived a very long life, her body was ready to rest.

-The self: Her self-esteem has dropped but not significantly because she has accepted her aging body.
-Personality: Due to her positive outlook on life, she remained resilient and lived a long time.
-Attachment: Her attachment has decreased due to despair of her dying husband, she still remains loyal.
-Family influences: With her husband having Alzheimer's, she has dedicated so much of her time with him on his last days. Her family does help a lot, especially financially for medical costs.
-Sexuality: She stopped being sexually active when her husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, but she still receives compliments from him.
-Victimization: Although she is fit, she feels helpless if a bad accident occurs such as break-ins or if her husband falls.
- According to Erikson, Addison is in the stage of integrity vs. despair (Santrock, 2015). She feels like she has not completed her life but it was well spent especially with family.
