In your groups, identify the references made to fairy tales in 'Number the Stars', and discuss what they mean to Annemarie, using the following prompts:

• What do you think fairytales stand for at the beginning of the book?
• What do you think Annemarie's view of fairy tales is?
• Do you think there is a point at which fairy tales change for Annemarie?

Type your group's responses in a new post. 
Be sure to indicate the following:

•  in the title of the post: your group number and group members' names, e.g. Group 1: Sam, Ben and Joy
• in the body of the post: 
  a. text reference (quote and page number)
  b. what does the text reference show, in relation to what they mean to Annemarie? 
  You should reflect your group's responses in point form/short sentences. Each post should reflect only one reference. If your group has more references, you may create more posts. 
• Try to avoid repeating points raised by the other group.
