A long time ago, my wife and I decided to adopt a dog.

I prepared our house to receive a puppy, called Pandora. The first time I stayed alone with Pandora, everything happened. She made pee in the middle of living room, got my socks and spread her food around the house. When my wife came back home, I said to her "We will not continue with Pandora! She's a monster disguised as a puppy! We're going to give her back!" After one week, I was head over heels in love with her. We are inseparable.

My friend Mari keeps saying she doesn’t like Rafa. Every time someone brings him up, she’s like, “No, we’re just friends. He’s funny, that’s all.” But then we catch her smiling at her phone when he texts her, or suddenly caring about her hair when she knows he’s going to be around. My friend Duda and I have noticed it for a while.

“She’s totally head over heels,” Duda said, while we watched Mari pretending not to look over at him in the canteen.

“Yeah, but she’ll never admit it at first.” I agreed.

Some time after this, out of the blue, Rafa came up to her. He literally just said: “Hey, do you maybe wanna hang out this weekend?” Mari looked so caught off guard. She paused and said: “Like… just us?” He smiled and replied: “Yeah. Like a date.” She laughed a little, and said: “Okay… I guess that would be cool.”

Duda and I were petrified looking at the scene. When he walked away, Mari turned to us and said: “Did that just happen?” And then she smiled, one of those real happy smiles, and I knew. She’d been head over heels for a while. She just needed a little push to say it out loud.

Every young person loves cars and it was no different for me.

When I was young, a new version of the "Volkswagen Gol" called the "GTI" was launched. When I saw the TV commercial, I said: "Wow, what a beautiful car. I'm head over heels with it." I certainly didn't have the money to buy it. One day, a friend of my mother's came to visit her and showed up with that beautiful car in front of my house. When I saw it, I couldn't believe it. Then she asked if I would like to drive it and guess what my answer was? LOL.
