The issue motivates the victims to know that everything happens for a reason and its going to be okay. Mr Mahes has been to jail so many times that it's causing taxpayers  $162 a day to feed, clothe and house Mr. Mahes at Rikers Island. Now in 5 years he taxpayers $250,000 because he didn't want to pay a check.
