In Italian 'to be' is used with 'agree' in the construction 'sono d'accordo'

In English, we can just use the verb 'agree' without an auxiliary (in the present simple).

This is a favourite choice by students that is used to describe how special, unique or distinctive a place or thing is.

e.g. 'I come from a village in the mountains, it is very particular.'

One problem here is that 'particular' is used in English more to indicate how specific something is among others.
