Today I got my assignment brief to create a mood board about a range of different technical softwares and select two of them to research and develop knowledge on (I selected Types of Shots and Adobe Premier) to enable me to use these specific features when it comes to me creating my own project, I understand that by the end of this assignment QR codes will be generated to be presented around the college site to staff and students. I learnt how to effectively use the Padlet and how to present work on it nicely, I also learnt how to research effectively using Youtube and selecting key information to add on my mood board.

In todays lesson my targets are as followed: Creating a Blendspace account, Creating a mind map of the tutorial I have chosen and complete my third mood board. Todays task was following on from last weeks assignment - I learnt today about different iPad apps and which apps do what and which are effective and which are less effective.

In todays lesson, we had to finish off our mind maps for the topic we have chosen but I had already completed mine; as shown above. We was then shown some examples of different work by Delta which could be inspiration for us which really helped me widen up my options.

We then got into little groups of 4 and went to workshops on different topics. I went to a workshop on Adobe Premier Pro; although I already knew the basics and advanced levels of Premier Pro, the leader of the workshop was helpful in explaining and refreshing my memory with what to do. I then went to a camera set up workshop which again refreshed my memory of what to do.

In today's lesson we had to produce a storyboard of our Digital Video we are producing, in my case; 'Types of Shots' .. I had to use my research and ideas which I put into my Mind Map. I am locating my Digital Video In London at Iconic settings.

Today's lesson was about preproduction, we finalised our storyboards and learnt how to write our proposal, we looked at the equipment booking log and spoke to Brendan the technician about which items we have to book out in which I chose to speak about a stabiliser tripod, we also spoke about a contingency plan which made me think about issues I may face and how I will over come them, we also learnt how to do our location visit sheet and made me understand more about my location and safety incase of an unexpected emergency.

i learnt from pre production the amount of work which I need to put in to enable me to come out with a strong, confident piece of work which will be near to professional standard. The camera I will use is a Nikon D3300 which is my own personal camera which shoots at 1080P HD with automatic focus. Today we was introduced to BlendSpace and was informed how to use it, I also learnt how to get my files of my iPad onto Blendspace through making a Dropbox account which was helpful.

In todays lesson we went over to the Harlow College University to look around the TV studio situated within the uni which has 3 cameras which added up to the price of £18,000. I learnt how Green Screen is the furthest colour away from skin tone which is the reason why Green Screen is used, also I understand that blue is an alternative but clashes with much more common colours. The person teaching us then let me have a go on listening to him through a headset whilst he is controlling what is being portrayed on screen whilst I am controlling the camera, afterwards - I was asked to be director in which I had to under go tasks such as telling the person in the control room that recording was ready to go, I also learnt the action to 'rounding-up' a production by rotating my lower arm 360 degrees in a 'round circle'.

In todays lesson I had to complete my self evaluation in the morning, this helped my understand where I was going wrong and enabled me to recognise where I needed to alternate, In the afternoon; we sat down as a class and watched Jack; the technician at Harlow College guide us through how to effectively nail the basics of Adobe Premier Pro - as I am confident and have wide knowledge of editing and Adobe PP this was just a refresher for me - after this we had a little play around with the software. Towards the end of the lesson, I sat down in a 1 on 1 with Delta who guided me with what I need to do to access the best possible grade and she told me that I am heading towards an excellent and in the right direction to a pass and Im very creative which boosted my confidence to work as hard as possible to gain the best grade which I really want. For next week, I now know that I need to do a reshoot of my production and also do another storyboard.

Since Thursdays lesson I have decided to change my production plan from 'Iconic settings of London' to 'Nature' this is due to two test shots of my original plan not going the way I expected unfortunately; I have been working very hard to reach the stage I am at now by doing a new production schedule and proposal and I am successfully up to date with my new plan and recorded and edited; I will expand on this on Thursdays lesson after feedback.

In todays lesson I showed Delta my production and she analysed it saying it was very good but gave me critical feedback which enabled me to understand what I need to change for my work to look professional; this will be completed for next week.

I have completed all my work which goes towards this unit so today I provided assistance to my classmates to help with there editing on Adobe Premier Pro.

This is my Evaluation for of this unit 'QR Code it'. In the lesson we watched peoples productions and critically gave them feedback, I found this very helpful and a great indicator of where I was working and Im very happy with my feedback.
