in the begining there was a murder between friends and one friend named Adnan was the one who was convicted for murder.
Adnan was set
Adnan would have probably been set up by Don. maybe because Adnan got a gift for Hae and was there for Hae more than Don and Don had just had enough and killed her and blamed it on Adnan.

they say that Adnan Syed was the one that committed the murder towards Hae.
the whole story behind this is that they say Adnan had committed the murder towards Haymane Lee.
