Save the Amazon Rain Forest

Many people are cutting down the rain forest to use for paper. If they cut down the whole rain forest many species of animals will go extinct. Another reason is if we do cut down the rain forest we will be ruining a lot of species of trees also. Some people think that in 40 years there will be nothing left of the rain forest. If there is a cure for cancer in the rain forest we may never know because many people are cutting the trees down. This forest alone make 20% of our oxygen supply.

The resources that are in the rain forest are worth protecting. There are many minerals that we use for medication. Other resources is food, many people that live in Brazil use this food to live. People use some of the materials to weave baskets. There is also oil found in the Amazon for many people this is the only oil that they have around for them to use.
