If they cut down the whole rain forest many species of animals will go extinct. Another reason is if we do cut down the rain forest we will be ruining a lot of species of trees also. Some people think that in 40 years there will be nothing left of the rain forest. If there is a cure for cancer in the rain forest we may never know because many people are cutting the trees down.   • They use the wood to make fires. They also think that the trees have something minerals to cure certain diseases. 
  • We need the rain forest because it produce 20% of our oxygen.
  • A lot of our food and our medicine come from the forest. 
  • The amazon river runs through the forest.
  • The more the forest gets cut down the more carbon dioxide that will be in the air
  • 25% of the things they use for cancer fighters are found in the Amazon
  • Many people rely on the forest for it's many products if we get rid of it not only will many species go extinct many of the products will too
