Little Rock 9 was a historical event about teenagers not being able to attend white only schools. The military had to protect them from whites throwing stuff at them because they didnā€™t want blacks in their schools.

2. Segregation was a big thing for African Americans because they were segregated until 1964.

3. African Americans fought for equal rights and were treated badly. For example, the Civil Rights Act was when Dr. Martin Luther King made a speech on the Lincoln Memorial. He made the I have a dream speech, the most famous speech in African American history. He changed the world for segregation to end.
