This seemed to be a popular comic amongst the first grade class I observed. It gave short stories of a variety of marvel superheroes from all different universes. This was also a huge hit amongst my first grade class I observed because of the Disney revitalization of Star Wars. It contained stories of new and old Star Wars characters and connected them together. This is a great book to use around December because of Disney promise to release a new Star Wars movie each December. This is a fairly new comic about two sisters who have just moved and want one of them who has cystic fibrosis wants to encounter ghosts they've heard live in their town. This funny and mild sci-fi comic imagines a surgically created dog-man that is a law enforcement hero. The new beast struggles with being an animal and having human tendencies.
