There will certainty be absolute rules, though they would be very specifically worded such that it's not possible, or very, very difficult, for someone to be wrongfully hurt by them.

I would not do whatever makes the most people the most happy, as to do so could easily break religious doctrine, and could very quickly spiral into a compromising of everything we ever fought for.

While we many not share everything, there would be a large sense of community and nationality (somewhat purposefully) instilled in us, which would allow us to stay together through hard times, and to care for each other near-endlessly.
