Evidence: The source, says that the people of Singapore were probably Buddhists  who cremated their dead. 
Inference: The source tells me that there were metalsmiths in Singapore before 1819.
Evidence: The source says that there is considerable evidence of commercial and industrial activity was unearthed there, including copper wires, fish hooks , remains of copper working , and over 100 Chinese coins.

Source (2) supports the point as it shows "there are wealthy people before 1819.
Source (3) also tells me that  before 1819, the people in Singapore lived near the coastal areas of Singapore., Thus because of Singapore's statue as a trading port, it  attracted the interest of traders and pirates.
