Mindsets are attitudes and, while it takes work, they can certainly be changed. I definitely would like to start introducing some more subtle reminders throughout the classroom to help my students realize the endless possibilities of their learning.

I really enjoyed the inclusion of examples from movies and such, it helped to make things more real and concrete!

When students make mistakes, I encourage them: I emphasize that we can learn a lot from mistakes, especially when we recognize them. Re. the presentation: It was nice to have groups unpack the skits and explain what they were trying to show in them. Suggestions: Dweck has done some great research since her first praise study that further illustrates growth vs. fixed mindset (not based on praise), and it might have been nice to go into some of that.
