In the training session and in the manual, it was mentioned about providing a comfortable testing environment. The extreme temperatures in Lab 314 & the Eason Lab make them very uncomfortable testing rooms. Lab 314 has been as cold as 62 degrees and Eason Lab has been 84 degrees during testing. I have administered many tests in both labs over the years. This has been an ongoing problem in both locations, not an isolated event. Students are very uncomfortable and likely do not perform to the best of their ability on exams. I am writing this not to complain, but rather to bring it to the attention of our new school leaders so that the problem can be resolved before testing begins.
