Our awesome instructional coach is always looking for tools to make our lives easier. She created a 3rd grade gradebook which makes it super easy to enter scores and then have them magically averaged! Report cards will be a breeze. I'll miss her when I retire in June!

I would not be the instructional leader I am without the support of my instructional coach. She helps to clarify our vision and create intentional, meaningful professional learning to engage staff in growth. Each day, our coaches bring an approach to students, families, and educators that exudes tact, care, and expertise. They both have transformed the climate at our school. And, most importantly, in a year of change, they have created stability and trust. Leading the way each day through planning and co-teaching along with their peers.

In PLCs, they keep the team focused. In parent meetings, they build the school-family partnership. And, in hallways, they provide invaluable support to the students they serve.

Having a teacher as part of the radio and response team is HUGE. Our coaches bring their experience, ideas, and compassion to school every day. Flexibility doesn't even begin to describe the job and how tirelessly ICs work to support teachers and students in their building. Now that we've had an awesome IC, I can't imagine being a teacher in my building without one!

Our amazing Instructional Coach has a toolbox that contains all of the ingredients we need (and don't know we need) to keep us moving onward and upward. She's always down for a laugh and is ready for anything, always. She has created tracking systems that work for our teachers and allow us to dip into the data and dig deeper when needed.
