I have been making art since 2019. I love drawing people and their differences, i mostly draw on my iPad but i occasionally draw with a sketchbook and markers and colored pencils! I would love to improve my recognition of anatomy and work on color theory. I would like to do mediums and styles of art for opt 1. For opt 2 i would like to pick design and composition. For opt 3 i would like to pick careers in art and related to art.

This artist used water color and marker mediums to create this piece. The element that most stands out is the colors, they are so different and the art itself shows how much they long for each other but are a part of two very different worlds. The artist's meaning is, two worlds of different colors and different realms long to be together. they get so close but their very different lives keep them a part.

Using these different methods of graphite techniques, I think that blending suited me best and the squiggly lines method in close second. These methods compared to the others are more put together in my opinion. Squiggly lines are new to me and i definitely will try to use them in later projects. The tutorial was easy and quick and I learned that its okay for your work to not be straight lines and only settle differences.

In this artwork, I used the “1,2,3…. Pastel!” Easy beginners video. What I learned from this video is, how to use chalk pastels, and how its better to not use lines but shadows to create a three dimensional object. This tutorial helps me practice different styles of art which helps me find which style will fit me best while still having some knowledge of other styles. I loved experiencing this style and it will definitely be fun to use in the future!

I learned how to use oil pastels and how to blend using entirely different colors. This assignment helped me realize I love oil pastels more than I love drawing with a pencil. This artwork is probably my favorite one that I have created.

The techniques I used were from the video, shading in circle motions. This assignment helped me experience charcoal in a basic sense.

Practicing this style of art, the attributes I see that relate to the impressionist style are; the fact that it doesn't look realistic, it looks how the artist wants to see it. Another thing I noticed is I didn't have to only use one kind of technique, I used something to scratch the oil pastel from the page to change the texture. I made the art lighter as it went on, the lightest being on the right. The video I used was, “how to draw an impressionist landscape with oil pastels” This helped me find the differences within the impressionist style.

This what I picked for my final project, as a tattoo artist It is one’s job to create something new and creative. I created this my self and made sure to show my line art that many artists have to be able to do. This reflects how much I have learned based on the fact that I know a lot more about anatomy and how to place things. I really love this style of artwork, And I hope to use these skills to build a portfolio for my job in the future.

For this mastery project I chose to draw about police brutality. The inspiration came from the quote, “Eat The Rich” Which I tied into my project. The social issue being, that police are sometimes power hungry. I did semi-realistic art and I made sure to add as much shading to express how dark the meaning behind his look is.
