Have the powers of the presidency changed over time?&nbsp; If they have, what is a specific example that illustrates this?&nbsp; If they have not, explain how you know they have remained unchanged.<br><br>2. Suppose an unprecedented natural disaster, economic collapse, pandemic, war, etc. occurred.&nbsp; Would you support temporarily increasing presidential authority to deal with it?&nbsp; What might be some pros and cons associated with increasing presidential authority?<br><br>3. Speculate on what might happen if Americans stop believing in the legitimacy of presidential elections?  Should this be alarming, or, do you find that the trust in our institutions is as solid as ever?  <br><br>4. In your opinion, who are the top three American Presidents of all time?&nbsp; Be sure to briefly explain why you chose who you did and ranked them in this particular order.&nbsp; Finally, determine if ranking presidents like this is meaningful at all, or if we should avoid creating these types of lists altogether.</div>]]></description>
